“For some reason I feel that a review of Omega just isn't necessary. It's a great place. Think Nobody puts Babe in a corner kinda location with for me at least a level of calm I am actively trying to have at all times. Their classes are always relevant and meaningful.”

“My mother has been at Ferncliff for almost a year and the staff has made several decisions to move her to the wing and floor with the right atmosphere for her to be happy. It is a nice touch for a rather large place when staff members on another floor or in the elevator know her by name and say hello.”

“Yesterday, I spent 4 hours learning, sharing, and developing safe community in a Prounoun Workshop provided by the YWCA and Institute for Family Health. The 2 people leading the training were superlative, and the staff from the YWCA were amazing. I was previously unaware of the YWCA, and now I can't wait to see what else this awesome organization has to offer. With appreciation and gratitude, Loreli”

“I adopted 3 female domestic rats from this shelter in September 2023. I was impressed at how well all the animals there were cared for, regardless of their species. I was also glad that they screen all prospective adopters.

It was well worth my long trip from Connecticut. Sadly, the last of my 3 Ulster County SPCA fur babies passed away of old age yesterday, but I'd gladly adopt again from them if others become available. ?”

“In the throes of an emotional flashback, I spoke with Carly. Within the space of fifteen minutes we were laughing. I attribute this outcome to Carly's attentiveness and her general equanimity. The fact Carly heard me and understood what I meant was critical to reregulating my system and bringing me back to a calm state. This sort of phone line will necessarily be hit or miss as we all bring different world outlooks to the proverbial table. My experience in this case is that I received precisely the support I needed and received it timely. For those who've had/are having a hard time, please do not despair. Please continue to seek the help you need. And please be compassionate with yourselves.”

“I recently enrolled my child to YMCA camp. Everyday my boy comes home telling me how much of a great time he has at the camp. He always mentions how great one counselor is in particular, Gavin. Gavin sounds like a wonderful counselor that’s love to do what he does. Thank you YMCA, and keep doing what your doing!!”
