“I’m truly amazed by the professionalism, expertise, and genuine care shown by the volunteer team at Veterans Rebuilding Life—far more than I ever anticipated. They took the time to understand my situation and supported me through every stage of the process. The VA system can be daunting, but their guidance made everything far more manageable. I wholeheartedly encourage any veteran who needs assistance to contact them. Thank you again, Veterans Rebuilding Life!”

“I stumbled upon this cute place while exploring the city. I had never heard of a zine before but was in awe when I walked in. It’s easy to forget about time and get lost in all the zines and books. The staff is really kind and passionate about the arts. Savannah really took her time to show me what Zines are all about. I was really inspired by her. I can’t wait to come back in the fall when I’m in the city.”
“Clear and insightful predictions. Dr Kumar candidly differentiate between Prarabdha/Destiny which cannot be changed and Karma which is result of our actions. He guides to influence our karma in order to have better life. Unique approach!”
“We love BCM. It has so much for kids to do and is fun for adults as well. We had our child’s 3rd birthday here and Morgan and team were wonderful and really knocked it out of the park. Everyone had a great time and it was a good balance of in room fun and museum exploration. Can’t wait to go back!”
“Such an amazing part of NYC history. From the Museum and the Sideshow. So much I never knew about my own city.Plus the gift shop is filled with really cool and unique things made by local artists.”
“North Bergen Purr is absolutely amazing—I’m so grateful our paths crossed. The staff and community are incredibly kind, welcoming, and supportive. My family and I are currently fostering two sweet kitties, and it’s been such a beautiful and rewarding experience.
Everyone at North Bergen Purr truly cares about the well-being of the cats and the people involved. You can feel the love and dedication in everything they do. I really hope we can continue fostering and being part of this wonderful community. Thank you for all the work you do!”
“I loved visiting the Brooklyn Cat Cafe. Truly a great experience. You get to meet cats of all different personalities! I went twice and ended up adopting a lovely cat. You can tell how much thought and care the staff and adoption coordinator put into making sure every cat is healthy, safe and finds a good home. As a nonprofit, they do so much with the resources they have, and it really shows.”

“Our photo booth company was hired last minute for an event at The Brooklyn Bank and we loved the space. The staff was kind and helpful, regularly checking to ensure we had everything we needed which is invaluable as a vendor. The vault provided a fun and unique spot for photos! We hope to be back for more events soon.”
“The mission at PAWS to help elderly/disabled individuals keep their pets by providing fostering, vet transport, dog walking and litter maintenance. Most of these people have had their animals for quite a number of years, so you're not going to get kittens and puppies if that's what you're after. This organization is an amazing testimony to how having an animal as a companion can sustain someone even in the midst of a diagnosis. Orientation is done via Zoom, so you don't have to leave your home and volunteering here can be very fulfilling.”

“I love the intimacy of this venue! I've been here at least a dozen times to see various shows, everything from jazz to soul to afrobeats. There isn't a bad seat in the house, the upstairs is very cute as well as the space in front of the stage.”

“Amazing hub for out of town runners like me who want to run in Central Park. Lockers, water fountain, changing rooms, and bathroom all kept clean by hardworking cleaning staff. The employees I’ve interacted with are all helpful and friendly. Be aware there are no showers, but I always bring disposable XL “shower” wipes.”
“The wilderness job readiness class with Keith and Mike was a success! Both of them are great instructors. I got a job less than a month after coming home from a 5 year bid. We went to a job fair and I was recruited by Guns Down Life Up to be a youth mentor. So give thanks to Keith, Mike and the whole Exodus community!”
“Thank you Estonian House and Eurocircle for hosting the Eurovision watch party! I’ve been a fan of the competition for ages, but Ive never had so much fun watching it (it’s actually not as much fun right at the Eurovision arena). Everyone was so nice and welcoming, I truly felt at home! Thank you!”
“MFTA has been like the heart and soul of the arts and cultures in NYC. This company and staff are great! Thanks the donors that keep donating year after year.❤️??”
“First time I walked into Bottomless closet I received very good resume assistance, I also had 2 outfits for my jobs interview coming up, two months later I got a job and they gave me 3 more outfits of my preference. The staff are the best, they take their time with each client. Really recommended.”

“I found this meditation spot after searching for a peaceful place to quiet my mind, and it has exceeded all expectations. The environment is serene and perfect for anyone looking to find some inner peace. It's made a significant positive impact on my life, offering a space where I can truly relax and recharge. Highly recommend it to anyone seeking a bit of calm in the chaos. It's a place that benefits everyone, no matter your experience with meditation.”
“Currently interning in Dream Center NYC and my experience has been nothing but positive and amazing. I felt blessed to have found an organization that cares so deeply for the community and providing many needs. This is an organization that meets the community face to face, creates relationships, and provide food boxes or supplies for whoever is in need. If you are interested in volunteering or interning or just needing some assistances or supplies please feel free to connect with us.”
“Rented the ice for hockey. The staff was great and the rink was so much fun. I got to talking to management and the programs they have for kids is just incredible. Anyone who plays hockey should support what they do to get kids involved in the game at low to to no cost. They rock.”
“It's a gem in Queens this store. Quality items to purchase but at affordable prices. I found two modern living room chairs for under $200 in excellent condition.
If you are redoing your home decor or just setting up a new place stop by this store to get some incredible finds. Also, check their website for online shopping.
Staff was friendly and helpful too.”
“This place is a one-stop shop for all your needs. They have swim classes, after school, summer camp, and much more. I enrolled my child in their summer camp, and I thought it would be low cost or free due to it being advertised as a non-profit organization, but it was about $3000 for summer camp. With that being said, if you're able to afford it, go ahead because it is well worth it. The children go on trips about 3 days out the week, and the trips are age appropriate and fun. They also go on an overnight trip to upstate NY at no additional cost. My daughter didn't want to go to summer camp but after her first day she couldn't wait to go back. The staff are all very, very, very nice and really seem to enjoy their jobs.”

“This long awaited addition to the Bronx is a great place to take little ones. The target audience is definitely toddler through elementary focused. The layout gives it a much larger feel. The views are much different than most NYC 'museums.' The meshing of Bronx/NYC in the aesthetic is great. It doesn't feel as though the community then museum serves is being underrepresented.
The kids loved the museuma ND so did the adults.”
“Both of my children did 3k and 4K as well as summer camp at the Ridgewood Queens YMCA. Our family absolutely Loved the experience. The teachers, administrators and staff are lovely and go above and beyond. My kids know everyone by name and are excited to see their teachers, directors, after school staff and summer counselors. Also my son is a Type 1 diabetic and they partnered with us to make sure that he is safe and well taken care of during summer camp. I trusted my children with YMCA for 4 years. It was a great experience. Highly recommend.”
