When I broke some wires, they tested out the exact type of wire to fix it. They clearly care a lot about their work and always give personal experience to what they do. Very friendly staff and a great neighborhood environment.”

“I've always had an amazing experience with Farrow & Ball and particularly their in-person experience! I called and spoke with a very helpful Martin. He was able to get my paint mixed in 20 minutes and I went to pick it up promptly. I know a lot of people order online, but I also highly recommend going in person and really understanding the paint and sheen you're getting with the help of employees. Thanks, Martin!”

They were extremely kind, patient, and helpful and made sure I got exactly what I needed. It’s rare to find this level of customer service and people who genuinely care about their customers. Zak, Naz, and Lou truly saved the day for me. I really appreciate them going out of their way, especially so late. Highly recommend this hardware store definitely deserving of 5 stars!”

He took the time to recommend the correct paint for my outdoor deck and assisted with color matching, making the entire process much easier for me. He also recommended a cherry-scented cleaning solution, which smells great and was a thoughtful suggestion. I am very satisfied with the service I received today and truly appreciate his professionalism. I hope he gets recognized for his excellent customer service. He was especially patient and understanding, even when I felt unsure or needed extra guidance.”

  9. R & R General Supply - 18-07 Astoria Blvd

18-07 Astoria Blvd, Long Island City NY 11102

    4.8 Superb 84 reviews

“Best selection of hardware in Astoria other than going to the LIC or Lex 59th Home Depot. Prices are reasonable, $1.60 out the door for a small box of fasteners! They take credit card for sub ten dollar purchases as well. My two gripes are 1. that not everything is labeled with a price and 2. that the hours and days of the week the store is open are limited. Other than that, no notes. Shop at local small businesses!”

Agatha you are the embodiment of community, you deserve the world and more, thank you for being so passionate and knowledgable about what you do and always going so above and beyond to help .”
