“It is my favorite to go place in the whole NYC to buy paints. Whenever I come I always go straght to Sophiya, she is the most knowlegeable and professional specialist in thus entity. She is always helping me find the paint that best suits my needs be it a new design in my customer's apartment or some faux finish paint for restoration. I would definately recommend this place”

“Danny was very friendly and helpful. I needed to match the color from one of the walls that I did some work on, and when I called, he told me that I needed about a quarter piece of a sample, which I luckily had. When we questioned the color that the computer matched, he looked up on the computer what colors they mix for those types, and it was the same. After I painted it, it matched perfectly. It was also very nice to have a local store that was easy to get to. The paint buying experience at Home Depot can be painful, but at Sherwin Williams, it was smooth and quick. They also recycle old paint, which HD does not.”

“The staff perfectly tinted primer for me (a task I thought was impossible because of the nature of the specific primer I needed), and gave me excellent advice that aided in the success of my mural project! I needed a lot of primer and they had it in stock, and other Benjamin Moore stores nearby didn’t. They also loaded the paint in my car. Amazing customer service!!!”

They have a great, helpful staff too. Parking a little wild but what else can you expect around the area lol almost a decade they've been holding it down”

“I second the words of many of the reviews already posted. I needed help purchasing paint and supplies for a small home improvement project. Not only were their paint prices lower than their competitors, but the woman and tall gentleman both took time to offer tips and advice for prepping the walls and applying paint.”

“I love the staff at Crest. I found a great mirror on the street that seemed impossible to put up in my tiny room and they were able to intuit how it should be hanged. They explained how to make a French cleat in great detail as a sturdy, incredibly cheap way of doing it. Love having them in the neighborhood.”

“They're not that bad. It is difficult to get clear answers from them regarding their products. However, if you do your research before visiting, you should be fine. They do have a good range of products for a neighborhood store. And yes, it's great to support a local business.”

“Have almost everything you'll need for small jobs around the house. The staff is always helpful as well, letting you know what you need to get a job done, or if they don't have what you should buy and don't push something that doesn't work. As a homeowner I appreciate this. I will say some things are a bit pricier than you could source elsewhere, for example laundry detergent; you could walk to the pharmacy next door and pay 30% less.”

“Andrea is amazing, helpful, kind, professional, knowledgeable, great, friendly, extremely helpful, experienced. Doody Home Center is very good but their staff makes the company great. Thanks to Andrea, I was able to save time and money. I would highly recommend Doody Home Center.”

“Good quality paint overall. Prices are okay/not great, but at least it is convenient when you need something quick. I did a color match one time - it wasn’t the best, I wanted dark brown, got a similar dark purple. Other than that I would go back for supplies. It saves me a trip to Home Depot for only a small amount of savings.”

4.2 Good6 Reviews

“Staff is knowledgeable and nice. They have good quality paint at reasonable prices, but not great prices. I have nothing too severe to complain about and suspect that others who do, aren't the most skilled at applying paint.”
