“We have been members of credit unions for over 40 years (would not consider a bank ever again if I had a choice) and members of Summit Federal Credit Union for over 9 years. Not sure about the negative reviews I read about them but I have always found them to be exceptionally customer oriented, professional and always answered any questions or concerns we had immediately. I have never called Summit and gotten a negative response. Their employees are exceptional and extremely helpful when the older generation (like me) have questions about accounts. We transfer money to our daughter and grandson quite often (who live out of the country) and everyone has always been helpful with paperwork needed to complete transactions. We are so glad SFCR exists and would not consider going anywhere else for our banking needs.”
“We have been customers of the bank for over 17 years, in two different states. Both locations we used as our main branch gave impeccable service. The tellers go out of there way to recognize us & remember our names. It's a personal touch of each branch. We have also used the bank for other services, and have had nothing but top notch service. Another thing I appreciate about the bank, is they don't nickel and dime you on service fees alike other banks. Rather I have an acct with them or not, they understand if I'm happy with there services, I'm more likely to refer others to them.”
“I can't say enough positive things about the folks in this branch. I called yesterday with a potential problem with a direct deposit with a problem with the account number. They posted the payment manually for me on time and will do so the next couple of months until the sender corrects the problem.
This level of service isn't unusual. Everyone I speak with is kind and helpful.”

“I have been banking with the Ukrainian Federal Credit Union since I was kid. My very first bank account was opened here, as well as my first credit card. UFCU has a special place in my heart. I love this place, the community, and the personalized service. I know most of the staff, and they know me by name.
The quality of service and the rates are quite good, but sometimes speed of service is lacking. Being a smaller credit union, the UFCU also doesn't offer as many credit products or have the same high limits as other larger financial institutions. This has slowly led me to move my money elsewhere. I still come here on occasion to deposit a check or two, but only having one to two tellers at the desk makes things slow. My transactions are usually very quick: cash deposit, cash withdrawal, or check deposit. Two minutes and I'm out. Waiting 20+ minutes to make a two-minute transaction is a little bit ridiculous. This has happened on multiple occasions. One time I just ended up leaving and coming back later.
If you're Ukrainian, having an account here is pretty much a must. Despite the drawbacks, I still love this community and the culture behind our credit union.

“I made the switch 20+ years ago when it was limited to Kodak employees and direct relatives. It is the best financial move I've ever made. They have added so many services and technology as well as drive thru only and branches around the entire Rochester area. Support is excellent, parking is never a problem, they have their own app, financial planning, loans and mortgages and I believe they do businesses now too.”

“I've been with Key Bank ? since 2024 and I have to say I love it. The staff is so friendly and so accommodating. There are two Key Banks ? that I am very fond of and that's the one on Empire Blvd., and Mount Hope Ave. But I guarantee you that at every Key Bank ? the staff will do everything they can to make you comfortable and accommodate you the best way they can. The one on Empire Blvd., if you ever need assistance with opening an account I suggest that you speak with Matt Horvath. He has a wonderful personality and he will assist you with all of your needs and he is great at listening to whatever concerns that you may have. The one on Mount Hope Ave., the teller I deal the most with there is Debbie. She is very sweet and always has a smile ? on her face. She is really good at her job and she will take good care of you. The other tellers are good as well. There is Jane and we have a new one there and her name is Sage. When Debbie isn't available those two will take good care of you as well.”

We have been a customer of Key Bank since they purchased HSBC and before that Marine Midland. We a serious issue with the bill pay portion and were not very happy with Key Bank’s response, but if not for Jay, this issue would not have been settled and rectified.

“I received a letter from bank about funds owed to me . I called the number on letter and my info didn't match. I went to the branch on Park Ave 9 /18. I was treated awesome by Leychalee Moran office manager who explained the letter. I came back today, Albert Burgos Jr who was awesome . He contacted and helped make sure i got my funds owed. The entire experience had my anxiety calm. I felt seen and respected and not confused because everything was explained. I hope they all get raises bonuses flowers. Blessings thank you.”
