“WOW. This is the most incredible place to find good sneakers. They analyze your feet to find the best shoes to correct any issues. If you have pain in your soles after standing a while, they will find sneakers to fix that. Have soreness in your arches? They will find sneakers with added support. The staff is absolutely phenomenal, assisting and building a relationship with each customer. I really cannot recommend this place enough, I will be telling everyone I know about this place!

“Brought my skates here for sharpening after a botched job at Pure Hockey. The guys took care of me quickly and hand sharpened the skates perfectly. If you’re from out of town or if you’re local, this is the best place in Rochester to get your ice skates sharpened.”

He took the time to explain to me all the advancements with equipment since I last bowled. I was able to select equipment with no pressure and he was able to get me set up that day with everything I needed! “Love this store. Its like a TJ Maxx or Marshall's but for more outdoor and active merchandise. Its neatly organized, thry have great deals and all of the stuff is great quality. Name brands and a lot of interesting gear. Everything from toothpaste to purses to camping equipment. Definitely check it out.”
“I had a fantastic experience at this Play It Again Sports location! Right when you walk in, you notice how clean, well-lit, and organized the layout is—it’s very easy to find exactly what you’re looking for. The location is great and easy to spot from the road.
The staff here really knows their stuff. I was specifically looking for skates, and the team was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, making sure I got the perfect fit rather than just handing me a box. Their pricing is very fair, and it’s a huge plus that they offer skate sharpening right on-site. Beyond hockey and skating, they have a massive variety of sports equipment and accessories. Friendly service and expert advice—I’ll definitely be back!”

Typically I'll only buy the REI brand is e shop the big name brands, but then purchase them elsewhere for lower prices.”

“DO NOT GP TO S&R BAIT SHOP!! I travel for work and stopped in at S&R and the guy was beyond rude and treated and talked to me like I was a PoS for asking a question about the night crawlers. I left and came straight here and they were both absolutely amazing. Very helpful and great prices and made sure to give me several different spots I can go to just to make sure I get on some fish. I normally don't post reviews or comments but I dont want anyone to have the same experience at S&R and if this helps one person make the right choice and spend money where good people deserve it and get treated right then it was worth it”

“I'm giving this business a 5 because they have an amazing selection of stuff (relatively speaking anyway) in a great location. Capacity is one of the only places in Rochester that I'm aware of that sells well-curated hypebeast paraphernalia in a welcoming setting. The store was full of Supreme products, collectibles, Nikes and products from various recent rap tours. They accept cards and it seemed that they will also buy stuff, making it feel like a community-minded business. I purchased a Supreme x Les Enfants Terribles t-shirt for $27 - be warned that numerous items in the store retail upwards of $100 and $200 despite being used. This is a place for the savvy consumer, not to just randomly walk in to grab something for your kid / SO / friend without doing some research. Overall, I think this business has definite room to grow, but I had a good experience there and I encourage anyone with an interest in fashion, aesthetics or culture to check it out!”

“Purchased shoes a few weeks ago and they happened to be a mismate (two different size shoes) I work in retail so I know it’s hard with out approval from store managers and district managers to do exchanges. I spoke to the DM out in Syracuse and corporate customer service and everyone was amazing and helpful. I went back the next day (after the initial first rejection of exchange) and was taken care of and left with a new pair of shoes and cleaner that I absolutely love. From SM down to sales I really appreciate the help and excellent customer service ?”
