βSmall hardware store, but still has almost anything you need and theyβll order new products to meet the needs of the community if they donβt have something you need! The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful, especially Ali, who helped me out my first time in!β
βLike another reviewer said, coming in here is an experience. David and Peter are just two awesome guys of the community. It’s something out of a movie. The shop is chaotic and disorganized, sure. But they will go up and out of their way to ensure you get what you need and will give you the time of day for even odd hyper specific requests. I was trying to build a guitar pedalboard but make it very customized with a pretty specific thing in mind… but I didn’t really have exact dimensions. David spent off and on about 1-2 hours going through the store and talking me through what I needed and how to do it. Pros and cons. I personally think I can be annoying with some of the trying to understand the how and why but they don’t make you feel that way.
TL;DR: being in there feels like an irl sitcom while also getting very practical help and things.β

I cannot say enough amazing things about Carlos at Mazzone Ace Hardware! He truly went above and beyond in a way you rarely see anymore.
I came in looking for a key solution, and instead of just selling me something standard, Carlos came up with a genius idea: he figured out a way to switch out the lock so I could use the existing keys I had already purchased.
To top it all off, he actually skipped his own lunch just to make sure my keys were cut perfectly (200 of them) and I was taken care of. He is incredibly generous, sweet, and a absolute lifesaver. Mazzone Ace Hardware has a customer for life thanks to Carlos. If you need anything, go see him!β

βFriendly staff and a range of items for home repairs and other projects. While I only needed an anchor and some hooks, the folks were quick to show me a few options and the items were well priced. If I need keys or other home repair supplies, I’ll be sure to come back. (And the anchor / hooks worked well for the disco ball hanging).β

βThey are a great convenience to have so close to the train. They make keys on the spot, they have all kinds of housewares, dishes, and all types of utensils marked for kosher use, either red or blue. Even more, they have a keilim mikveh on site.β

βIt is my favorite to go place in the whole NYC to buy paints. Whenever I come I always go straght to Sophiya, she is the most knowlegeable and professional specialist in thus entity. She is always helping me find the paint that best suits my needs be it a new design in my customer's apartment or some faux finish paint for restoration. I would definately recommend this placeβ

βThe only place I go to for any home improvement needs. I get my keys made here, buy all any screws and anchors, tools to tighten the loose bolts in my head, get a few liters of paint every now and then, even Elmer's glue for my kids slime.
Pro tip they have pokemon cards! Where else can you get some WD40 and rip open some charizard packs.β

βBest local hardware store. Jimmy the owner cares about all his customers amd extends every courtesy. He is so knowledgeable about most home and even commercial repairs or installations that its a place you can trust. Anyone with an issue can get the advice and help to tackle any job no matter your skill level. Its well worth the extra buck or two for materials because you actually have someone that knows about the jobs you need to do and the materials needed. You go to home depot and all you get is a shrug and or sorry I can't help you that's another departmentβ

βThis wonderful establishment should be called Marine Park Hardware & Kindness! I walked in and showed Scott a picture of my broken brass under the kitchen sink drain pipes and he immediately put together a replacement set! He then offered to cut them to the exact size of the old pipes so it would be β plug and playβ for my plumbing! As a senior this was such a refreshing and kind approach rather than the β itβs in aisle 6β approach of the big box stores. Greg was also very helpful during my time there. Scott made a few keys for me, got some excellent Stanley blades for my saw and I was ion my way. Pipes fit in perfectly! Thank you Scott and Greg!β
βPersonally i think we are lucky to have this store right here. Staff is great and knowledgeable and almost always find what I need.....and I don't have to do the big crowded Home Improvement stores !!! Pricing is fair and quality of product is great !!β

They were extremely courteous, helpful and hilarious. Thank you gentlemen for helping us, we were able to successfully change our kitchen sink drain and pipe by ourselves!β

βFor the last few days it's been HOT! But my window has window guards with these weird screws. I tried Home depot, Amazon, etc etc. no luck. I called Angelos and spoke with Jim, right of the gate he was knowledgeable and helpful. I was so hopeful when I got to the store. He gave me what I needed. The store had this home town feeling. Like y'all need to come here instead of those big corporate stores. You'll get help FAST. Well what he gave me worked and I successfully installed our AC unit. I highly recommend this store! βThe staff here is incredible. I came in 10 minutes before closing with a broken HP laptop charger (urgently needed for a work deadline that night). They didn't have any in stock, but they LENT ME THEIRS (their only one) for no charge, just asking I bring it back the next day. Everyone working there is so knowledgeable and helpful that you leave their feeling confident that you’ve gotten just exactly what you need. It certainly beats the corporate hardware stores, you know HD and one that begins with an L where help is hard to find and the personal touch is sorely lacking. I’m so glad that we have Mazzone’s ACE hardware to rely upon.β
