“Amazing customer service! I needed something from the hardware store after they had already closed, and Zak, Naz, and Lou went above and beyond by opening the store back up just to help me. They were extremely kind, patient, and helpful and made sure I got exactly what I needed. It’s rare to find this level of customer service and people who genuinely care about their customers. Zak, Naz, and Lou truly saved the day for me. I really appreciate them going out of their way, especially so late. Highly recommend this hardware store definitely deserving of 5 stars!”

“Jacob, the young man is fantastic. His level of kindness and willingness to help even for the very small and minor area is 10/10. I left the store feeling very happy and with heartfelt humanity which is lacking and very rare these days. God bless you young man!”

“More Than A Hardware Store I found an item here that seams to be discontinued Any other place would have thrown out to make space for something that would make more $$ and Item Was Shipped Same day thank you based upon a video of your store I found on youtube this is the type of store I miss from years ago in my small town where neighbors could gather and stay in touch keep up the great work and don't change a thing”

7905 3rd Avenue, Brooklyn NY 11209
“The staff here is very helpful and they are well stocked. You usually expect to pay alot more when you go to these local shops but that is not the case and even if I had to it would be worth it because of the helpful staff. Only issue is it doesnt come up when u go to true value site to search for your local store.”
476 Bergen Street, Brooklyn NY 11217

“Friendly staff and a range of items for home repairs and other projects. While I only needed an anchor and some hooks, the folks were quick to show me a few options and the items were well priced. If I need keys or other home repair supplies, I’ll be sure to come back. (And the anchor / hooks worked well for the disco ball hanging).”
660 5th Ave, Brooklyn NY 11215
“I mean, this is a place that understands what customers are and how to serve them. Every time I go in I get what a hotel or a high-end clothing boutique would advertise as 'concierge service' or 'personal shopping provided' but here it's just someone who's interested in listening to my problem, examining whatever I brought with me, making helpful suggestions, disappearing into the bolt archives for 5 mins, and coming back and charging me like $4.38 for a sale they just spent 10 minutes of their time on. You can get someone to help you at Lowes or Home Depot, but you can't assume they're gonna do so in a way that makes it clear they want you to keep coming back. I will keep going back to Greschler's”
519 Flushing Avenue, Brooklyn NY 11205

“We've been coming to this shop for minor bike repairs for many years. Great place to fix the most common bike problems: punctured tires, loose chains, broken spokes, changing break pads, changing break cables and all of that sort. Very affordable! And honest - if there's something they aren't able to fix, they won't try to mess with it to make it worse or waste your time. Very reliable. We are lucky they are in our neighborhood! Very professional and respectful. Plus you can find all sorts of interesting new and vintage objects there from embroidery floss to an old typewriter, from a roll of vinyl to a knight armor - it's like a treasure box there! And they make key duplicates too!”

“On a horrible night out about a month ago I lost my keys and Ali came to my rescue. It was about 2am and he assured me he would be able to help me gain access to my apartment and give me a new lock. He delivered, as well as gave me a good price which most locksmiths don’t do for emergencies! Shorty after I had started experiencing some difficulties with the lock Ali had installed and my key had kept getting jammed every now and again. As time passed on it was completely stuck inside the cylinder and I was unable to remove the key for a bit and one day it just didn’t come out. I called Ali same day and he promised he’d stop by even though it was his day off. Even though I live in the Bronx he drove from Brooklyn. He pulled through replaced my lock and made sure it was in good working order before he left. Thanks a bunch Ali you’re Amazing 🫶🏼”

“I needed a kind of plywood that they didn't have, so it had to be a special order. Mendel answered all my questions and addressed my concerns in a timely and professional manner. Even the laborer in the yard was very helpful in cutting my material. The material was priced a little higher than other places, but Mendel's courtesy and professionalism made it totally worth it. A great example of good business practices.”
