“Very clean, quaint and cute supermarket with mostly Italian finds.
This supermarket is located in an awesome plaza with lots of different shops. From wine to food, desserts to bath bombs, there's lots to do and it's a one stop shop.
The supermarket layout is pretty basic and straightforward with enough variety but not too much to overwhelm you. This was my first time in Balducci's and it reminded me (in the best way possible) of a hybrid between DeCicco's and The Fresh Market - but of course, smaller.
The owner of the supermarket brand is Albertsons (what a throwback lol!). Expect to buy quality foods, international finds, gourmet ingredients and they even offer catering.
Their baked goods like cupcakes and cakes are all imported from other locations but I will say they're delish and great quality.”
“I love trader joes so much the prices are reasonable and the bakery is really good and fresh. They currently have a sailor/ocean theme going on. It is very creative and good. The place is decorated really well which sets it apart from other stores and their jute bags are also very cute”
“They have an amazing selection of the best japanese food and groceries in Stamford. Pro tip is to get the sushi or an onigiri and enjoy it at Mill River Park nearby. Love this place!”
“They have a lot of Japanese goods that are hard to come by. The store is a little too crowded for shopping carts. Matcha tea powder is expensive. Puffs are good.”
“Doing a food shop at Trader Joe's is always fun! There are always new products to try and everything is so accessible and beautifully displayed. The prices are reasonable compared to the large grocery chains. My Hartsdale store has truly wonderful cashiers and employees, always helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. It's a pleasure to shop here on a weekday morning, best time, no crowds.”

“Great little location with a decent size parking lot, they always seem to be stocking and always have at least 5 cashiers open. I’ve bought almost all the raviolis trader Joe brands and they all tastes amazing especially with the roasted garlic tomato sauce, parmesan flakes and some fresh mozzarella balls. Everyone in the store was super nice and even though it’s on the smaller side they certainly keep the place stocked well.”

“Wegmans bakery did a fantastic job with an order for two dozen custom cupcakes with an image on them for a very special work event. The whole process was expertly handled. I was able to email the image file to the catering department (you can also upload on their website). Melanie, the person helping me over the phone, was patient and able to answer every question. Curbside pick up was ready exactly on the date and time I said I'd be there. If only everything could be this efficient. Thank you!!”
“They have improved but they have to be aware of the expiation date in the back refrigerators and in the bread area.....but in vegetables, vegetables and fruits they have improved a lot”
“The market offers discount fresh seafood and high quality beef. The market has free parking space and staff are friendly. They also offer free ice for food preservation. The deli has good varieties and is high quality. Glad to become their frequent customer.”

“You can find so many wonderful vegan products that are hard to find elsewhere. I bought things like jerky, Amy’s cheese pizza bites, “wings”, ice creams, Abe’s muffins… They also have healthy stuff if that’s your vibe. The pizza bagel I got was amazing heated up in the air fryer, they have multiple vegan fresh options! The cashiers are also wonderful and I like the rewards program they have. I found some items that were cheaper than I can find at other stores.”

“I discovered Stamford ShopRite pharmacy about two years ago while shopping in the store. From the first time I found this the best pharmacy around. The staff is very helpful and professional. They make your visit there very pleasant. They go out of their way to help you. Their prices are very affordable. If one does not have insurance coverage they use the best coupon prices (like Good Rx). Most of the time those prices are better than insurance copayments. I go there regularly to shop in the supermarket and pick up my medications at the same time. I highly recommend this pharmacy to all.”

“This place has better deli sandwiches than the Italian deli across the street - they’re made faster, less expensive, and include far more meat. They use boars head and fresh bread. I live around the corner and have always walked in with my sandwich made even calling only 5 minutes ahead. The breakfast sandwiches are passable but nothing to write home about. Honestly, a hidden gem.”
