I was in search of a new sneaker for weight training, and I was fortunate enough to receive exceptional service from Bob, one of the store's employees.Bob went above and beyond to not only assist me but also educate me on the type of sneaker that would best suit my needs. He took the time to understand my requirements and preferences, and he even suggested that the store's current selection might not be the right fit for me. However, he patiently walked me through various criteria, and together we found the perfect shoe that met all my requirements.I must say that I have never received such outstanding service when it comes to purchasing sneakers. “ASK FOR SUZANNE! My daughter and I were shopping across the road at DSW. I mentioned to her a few times that a New Balance store was across the road and we should take a look. Of course, the teenager declined. Of course, after not being satisfied with the selection she opted for the run across the road. I'M SO GLAD WE DID. We enetered the store was looked at and not acknowledged by a male sales representative, who really doesn't matter. I felt after a quick browse of the store we were not going to receive customer service worthy of our time and money. Boys and girls I was incredibly wrong. Out from the back, I assume she was, as she was not on the sales floor upon our arrival, appears the GREAT SUZANNE. Her greeting, her patience, her time, her knowledge, her energy is all I'd like to share. She measured my daughters feet and was on the move. She wasted no time in asking the right questions and providing several selections based upon the answers given. My daughter was able to have her "footing" corrected with the assistance of Suzanne. My daughter made her choice. I had no intention of making any purchases, however, the service and knowledge that Suzanne provided for my daughter, I decided I wanted a pair of shoes also. Suzanne measured, asked questions and was on the move to provide that wonderful experience again. Amidst our light banter and trying on my selections Suzanne learned something about my daughter and was so happy for her. She went above and beyond her customer service for New Balance and she made a phone call and was able to provide my daughter with some valuable information. I found the shoe I wanted, but, the store did not have my size, sadly. I WILL BE BACK BECAUSE OF SUZANNE! Did I forget to mention the sneakers that my daughter chose are everything and more where comfort is desired...Suzanne you are remarkable at what you do and who you are...DON'T CHANGE. The world will always be a better place because of YOU. YES, THIS IS A REVIEW BECAUSE OF SUZANNE AND THE SERVICE WE RECEIVED. THANK YOU!”

“We have rented ski gear for our kids here the last two years, and this year my husband and I purchased new boots as well. Everyone we interacted with was knowledgeable, patient, and super friendly. They have a good selection and take the time to figure out what's right for each person. Prices are very fair as well, especially for the level of service. Shout out to Jeff, who spent lots of time with fitting the kids for their gear and helping us choose new boots, Tim for helping with the fit process and loading when we picked them up, and Austin for helping us collect everything. We especially appreciate how friendly and welcoming they are for the kids, helping them to get excited for the ski season from their very first experience with the equipment.”

There were a couple of items that were out of stock in the store and Colin went out of his way to ensure that they were delivered in time from the warehouse. Customer service return experience was stellar as well - I had to exchange arm pads that I purchased which were too small.”

“This place is packed to the gills with some really cool clothing for a smaller locally owned store. Yes, prices are what they are but the stuff they sell is often high end. Yes, this isn't Target with mediocre clothing that might cater to a lower income clientele. Squires is where one might go to get some nice ski clothing or a special gift. We should support local stores so we don't all end up looking the same in that big box Costco style Poopwear. And frankly, the prices are right for what they sell. I have found that you can get stuff at a reasonable price. As for hovering salespeople, they are trying to be helpful and all you have to say is that you are browsing and you'll let them know if you need help. The store is big enough that you can ghost the salespeople if you prefer to be left to your own devices.”
