“If you ever have an emergency, go to Pamela Robbins. This will make sense if you stick around until the end. But first! The review: At the recommendation of my neighbor I went to Pamela Robbin’s for the first time about 2 weeks ago. I had the most amazing experience - 1.the selection was gorgeous, perfectly curated 2. the service was unbelievable, the women were instantly pulling items for me. They never even asked my size (this is how I learned I’ve been buying jeans 3 sizes too large). I was given a full on styling session. Truly professional stylists. My online shopping addiction has been cured and I no longer look like a frump. Winning!

That leads us today. I pull into an open spot in downtown Scarsdale for an 11am appointment. I hop out of the car ready to take on the day. I look fabulous - mainly because I’m wearing a couple of the items I purchased from Pamela Robbins! As I’m feeling myself, I hear something fall to the ground and land….5 feet down in the storm drain. What could it be? Ahh my phone, because duh. I quickly realize that I cannot pay for the parking (I use the app), I cannot phone a friend, or anyone else for that matter. So I look around for a safe haven and what do I see sparkling in the distance, Pamela Robbins! I go inside, flustered and eyeing the parking attendant and tell the ladies what happened. They immediately pay for my parking and offer to call the police station to let them know we need help getting a phone. I am endlessly thankful and rush to my appointment. After my appointment, I head back to the store to leave a number they can reach me at in the event my phone is recovered only to discover that they already had it! My day was saved by 4 firefighters and 3 fan-freaking-tastic women. They have a customer for life in me (though they already did before the phone fiasco!). Women helping women is the very best of us, and they jumped in immediately. I realize a phone in a drain isn’t exactly newsworthy, but what could’ve been a massive headache became nothing more than a minor inconvenience (and a funny story!). I appreciate it so much!”

“Beginnings Boutique offers beautiful and quality clothing, unique styles and accessories. Everyone makes the experience really enjoyable and helpful from start to finish!”

“We drove up to the Hartsdale/Scarsdale area on a Saturday so my wife could do some shopping. This store is on a busy street with several clothing stores together in strip centers on both sides of the road. There is ample parking right in front of store.
Inside the store is quite large with fully stocked shelves. The clerks were very helpful. Today they were rather busy.”

“Very nice, informative and patient people over at the Maizie Consignment shop. Stopped in to check out the store and had an item I was interested in selling/consigning which they were very helpful with. It’s sad to see the negative comments as if they are the Salvation Army, it’s a designer boutique in Hartsdale which I assume the rent isn’t cheap. Will return very soon to do future business.”

“Great variety, but very quiet
The store had a fantastic selection of clothing and styles — plenty of variety to choose from. That said, the store felt almost deserted, with very few customers, which gave it a strange, quiet vibe. Still, the quality and options were impressive, so worth checking out if you’re looking for something specific.

The staff were friendly and helpful, though with so few shoppers, it almost felt like a private shopping experience. The displays were neat and organized, making it easy to find what you wanted. Prices were as expected for Banana Republic, and there were some good sales happening. I appreciated the spacious layout, which made browsing relaxing. Overall, it’s a solid store, just wish it had more energy and foot traffic.”

“I was in earlier this week and (like everyone else) was taking advantage of the great 30% off sale. The store/fitting room was packed and even though Mary was attending the fitting room herself, she was so helpful and made my shopping experience a positive one and I ended up buying with more than I planned. She clearly knows the store, the inventory, and is always happy to lend a helping hand. Thanks Mary!”
