“This review is long overdue, but I’m still thinking about it, so I’m finally writing it!
I had a last-minute event and ran into GAP looking for something to wear. To be honest, I never feel great in jeans, so I usually avoid them. But I decided to give it another try. I ran into the first staff member I saw, her name is Evelyn , and she was amazing from the start.
I used to work in retail, so I always feel bad asking for help, but I told her about my last-minute event and how I usually struggle finding jeans that make me feel good. I’m petite with a bit of curve, which makes shopping (and fitting rooms!) stressful sometimes. Evelyn completely changed that experience for me. She made me feel confident, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.
In less than 20 minutes, we found the perfect pair and it turned out to be the only petite size left! I left feeling so much better than I expected to.

“Teenage type clothing store that is not cheap. Think Brandy Melville prices for sweats, tiny tops, Lacey things, and revealing clothes for young adults.The five stars is bc it is kept so neat and the people were nice in the store.”

“The store is very calm and gives you a relaxing vibe, I've never seen it crowded. Staff are very helpful. There's never a wait at the fitting room. The self-checkout is so quick and easy too. I rarely wait in line at this location. Come during off peak hours and you will have the whole store to yourself!”

“I often visit Burlington stores in different states. And I have something to compare it to. I was here on Sunday evening. Honestly, I don't like it when a store is in a basement. The store isn't very big. It's very disorganized, and a lot of things are lying around on the floor, not put away. I quickly found things for my daughter. They really do have a lot of interesting children's things and they have good discounts. But when I saw a long line and that it was moving slowly, I had to leave my things and leave; I'm not ready to waste my time on that. Overall, I recommend the store.”
“I really appreciate the staff at this H&M—they are always friendly, helpful, and work hard to assist customers. However, the fact that the lower floor registers are almost always open while the upstairs registers are rarely, if ever, available puts unnecessary stress on the staff and creates very long lines for customers. This situation is both frustrating and inefficient, and it’s something that really needs to be addressed. Opening more registers upstairs when possible would help reduce wait times, ease the workload for staff, and improve the overall shopping experience for everyone. I hope management considers this to make the store more efficient and less stressful for both staff and shoppers.”

“We bought a jacket for my 5yr old 13 months ago. He’s 5 and wore it to death last winter and the beginning of this winter. The zipper was always a little hard to use. It stopped zipping. I was frustrated every time I zipped it up. My son couldn’t do it at all. I knew it was out of warranty so I called customer service. They said they could repair it but it would take 8 WEEKS! Dag. Can’t do that. They said to take it to my local store and ask to exchange or return it even though it’s out of warranty. Ok? Sure. So I went to the Yonkers store. They saw the jacket and how beat up it was. Of course they were hesitant to exchange or return it. I would be too. Najib, the manager on duty came and helped my wife. Even though he was hesitant (reasonably so, my kid isn’t easy on his clothing), Najib let us exchange it. I’m writing this review to show how good a company LL Bean is and how well they handle the grey areas of retail. He could have sent us on our way but he was calm, cool and really helped us out. I’m not a jerk who takes advantage of return policies like so many people do. It’s those folks who ruin it for the rest of us. The fellows at the Yonkers store were solid. Id happily have them on my staff and the Bean should be proud to have them at the Yonkers store helping families like mine sort through tough aspects of the retail relationship. Shop here.
