“The Stockade Inn is stands in a class of rare hotel. New-world comfort with old-world charm. Comfortable and large beds, soft, cool bedding, good air-conditioning and great shower and bathroom. Parking: easy and close right xoss the street. Great restaurants and cafe/bakeries/bookstores within a half to 3/4 of a mile, maybe less. We walked. Also a beautiful, small and quiet park nearby overlooking the Mohawk. Not far from train station, so getting here without a car would be easy. Also friendly, helpful staff who welcomed us. Any history buff would want to stay here. Amazing. We want to return soon!”

“Such a nice hotel and close to the restaurants in the area (like Shaker and Vine). I stayed there for my birthday and they provided complimentary champagne and a nice card in the room for checkin. The views of our room were beautiful too! The desk clerk was very friendly and I recommend this place if you are in Schenectady, NY. We went downstairs for some live music too that night at Rivers Casino which was fun!”

“The AC was the favorite,the bench to sit here and read a book,while being in front of the window while the window was open. That was my favorite part of this visit.hot shower and cold enough to do a cold plunge look how awesome there filtered water machine is!”
