“Danielle (owner) is such a nice and fascinating person. I came in to simply ship a box with FedEx. I ended up spending almost a half hour here chatting with Danielle and her staff. The walls are lined with old photos from the area, some dating back to the 1800’s, and Danielle had amazing stories for every one of them. They also sell some super cool books about local history. Like one of the previous reviews said, I’m almost trying to find a reason to go back soon because it was such a nice experience”
“Best customer service. This business has everything a UPS store has except the long waits. Everything from international shipping to scanning, faxing, copies and notary services. Can’t believe I never knew it was here in Albany. Safe, clean location.”

They are truly lucky to have such a hard-working and compassionate employee. I was in a state and frantic to get back taxes filed and even the simplest tasks were confusing me. Kelly took the time to calm me down and simplify the printing process. I will never forget her kindness.”
“Carlos was an absolute delight. You really don’t come across great customer service anymore these days, especially In places like the post Office, where people are just trying to get through their day. What a pleasure it was to walk in here on a Thursday afternoon, and be greeted by such a pleasant smile and helpful demeanor. Carlos is the epitome of a someone that can truly change someone’s day around just by being kind and helpful. Someone that goes above and beyond, just because. “After going to Staples and having a little girl stare at me and tell me there's no way she can do what I asked I went to the UPS store in East greenbush and the girl there had me in and out in two minutes. UPS store has qualified people able to do their job. Five stars. And a huge thank you.”

Kelly was not only friendly and helpful, she was totally patient and knew her job.They say when someone complains and doesn’t back up their complaint with validity, it’s usually the complainer that that is at fault. Perhaps a visit to your therapist before you return to the Post Office and belittle Kelly is in order.”

“I called the post office about a package that I hadn't received on its expected date. Damien explained to me that sometimes packages take longer than expected. He took the tracking number down and my phone number, said he would keep me update on the status of the package. He called me today to let me know that they received the package at the facility and that it was out for delivery. Great customer service!”
“The clerk was phenomenal as I was sending out legal documents for work certified mail, and I have a tremor in my hand and can't write clearly. Very patient and helpful explaining that having the signature receipt doesn't always work because they simply won't sign it, and apparently that's okay (it shouldn't be, maybe 4.5 stars to the USPS, and 5 to the Valatie office). However I will get a confirmation it was delivered, which is all that matters!

“A really nice small-town post office! Friendly, helpful service, a good selection of new stamps, and a convenient location in downtown Kinderhook. Come here to mail a letter, then walk a block or less to grab coffee or a bite at one of the nearby shops!”

“Such a difference from when this location was staffed by 2 of the most rudest people ever to wander into the area of customer service. I work near there and when those two women (now retired, thankfully) manned the window, I boycotted the place because of their attitudes. However, the new staff is nothing short of friendly, helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. In fact, they are one of the better post offices in the area now based on the staff. For those wondering where to find it, follow directions on the concourse to the Corning Tower. It’s on the right, before you get to the tower.”
“was surprised to see such low rating so decided to share some feedback. Went on a Friday morning to mail some certified mail. A young gentlement was at the counter, filled out the form for me, added return address, and did the whole thing super efficiently. Usually I had to fill all those out myself and wait in-line. Not sure about negative reviews but this was one of the best and most efficient visit to USPS. 5 star for sure.”
“Went in yesterday to ship my gifts for operation Santa. The woman at the counter ( I didn’t catch her name) was incredibly patient and helpful despite being unfamiliar with the process. This was one of the best post office experiences I’ve had anywhere.”

“I love this post office. I’ve used it for over a year now, and have never had one issue. Always received super nice, amiable service, and our mail carrier is super sweet. It’s hard to work in a short staffed environment, but I’ve never heard one complaint from the workers. They are exemplary employees.”
