558 Metropolitan Ave, Brooklyn“I love the staff at Crest. I found a great mirror on the street that seemed impossible to put up in my tiny room and they were able to intuit how it should be hanged. They explained how to make a French cleat in great detail as a sturdy, incredibly cheap way of doing it. Love having them in the neighborhood.”
“I am completely in love with this store! The staff members are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. One gentleman, whose name I regrettably can't remember, gave me excellent advice on how to care for my plants. I followed his instructions precisely, and now my plants are flourishing beautifully. I am extremely grateful for his assistance, and I highly recommend this store to everyone!”
“Found this place when I was looking for more plants to buy in the summer, when the selection at Home Depot just wasn't up to par. This place is great, so many beautiful plants, and lots of beautiful planters too. The workers are very nice, they leave me alone to browse and enjoy the plants they offer for as long as I need. and I find myself going back again and again for my house plant needs. I also love their seasonal changes, I went for the first time in the fall season this month and their pumpkin and squash collection is amazing. I wish I knew about them last year for my pumpkin decorations!”

415 5th Ave, Brooklyn“Walked in with a picture of what I wanted because someone sent me on an errand to buy something for a festival. The guys working this shop are so friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. If they don’t have something out in the open then they definitely have it in their storage room. What really made my experience top notch was that the guy helping me asked what I needed the item for, and upon hearing the reason actually recommended the cheaper-priced option because I “didn’t need the heavy duty version.” That’s really great service. Probably the best local, family-owned shop I’ve ever been to in NYC; I wasn’t expecting it to be a hardware shop of all things.”

193 7th Ave, Brooklyn“Walked in for an appliance light bulb but couldn’t help but look around. Store is nicely stocked with a touch of everything. Super clean and well lit. Ended up grabbing soil and some cleaning supplies as well. Plenty of amazing staff offering to help and even give suggestions about other places in the neighborhood. Will be coming back.”
“The reason why it didn't receive 5 stars is because it was hard to find help. Other than that, everything is well organized and clean. When someone is there to help out, they are very knowledgeable.”

108 10th St, Hoboken“William did an absolutely fantastic job creating the floral centrepieces for my parents-in-law’s 50th wedding anniversary party! The bouquets turned out exactly as I had requested and the quality of the flowers and materials was excellent. The large, floating candles William also recommended with the flowers were a beautiful centrepiece addition. They really complimented each other. William provided all of the rental equipment and was thoughtful enough to provide extras on the day too. Delivery and pick up was on time too. William was a true pleasure to work with. He is very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I strongly recommend this florist and hope I can work with them again in the future. Thank you William and Beethoven’s Veranda for your amazing work!”
“I stand before you just a girl... Who has seen one too many diy videos and thinks herself Bobina the Builder.& I'll get there, but I'm definitely not there now. So shout out to John for helping me correct my paint error, anti-microbial and scuff proof for the girlies who like being able to take a shower from the depth of the underworld and then give their walls a good scrub after (impossible that it's just me, okay.) For helping me with instructions for my wall patches, and how to actually permanently paint ikea and laminate furniture. While I didn't get everyone's name, they were all pretty helpful :) And I had a good experience. Will update next round :)”

“Just moved into the block and have been using Saifee for all my planting needs with QUALITY but also CHEAP. Also even bought the materials needed to make a beautiful floating shelf. The staff is always available and very accessible. Just ask them any question and they'll legit direct you to exactly everything you need. Can't re-emphasize the CHEAP aspect too enough, it's very AFFORDABLE.”

106A W 28th St A, New York“Honest pricing. Kind, lovely 40+ year owners who provided thorough care instructions and assistance. $30 cheaper than the place across the street who was price gouging; $100 less than another shop that wouldn’t even look up from their phone to see if they had any of what we were looking for. This is the only real deal plant shop left on the block. No haggling or combative sales—just a perfect store with a wonderful selection.”
9AM - 7PM
555 Columbus Ave, New York“Great decor/atmosphere. This Plantshed location is especially lovely to come to in the summer (/or whenever there’s an exceptionally warm sunny day). The terrace is really tranquil and lovely. It’s one of my favorite café terraces on the UWS. Definitely overpriced, you’re not “getting a deal” here.”
11AM - 7PM
44 Grand St, Brooklyn“Geometry provided gorgeous and unique floral arrangements for my October rehearsal dinner in Brooklyn. Working with Shirley was amazing and the whole process was seamless. I highly recommend for all your event needs!”
“I've no idea why I'm super impressed with this Home Depot's garden center.......but I am! Garden center has expanded with a very nice roundup of Plants, Shrubs and Trees here- than ever before. And to be quite honest, these guys over the years, have come up with a well-thought-out setup. Prices are also real cool and a few $s less- compared to Hawthorne- closer to me. My Mom got a good hold of a few Perennial flowers for the front of her house as well as a few others for the backyard. And by the way...aside from the never-ending construction nearby, it was easy to maneuver in and out. Even for midday Saturday afternoon, there weren't crowds and parking lot was civil.”
“Gardel was super helpful and the prices weren’t that much higher than other places I checked out—in some cases lower, or the same for better quality flowers. Had a decent selection of discounted perennials (visited in September), that were trimming down in preparation for winter dormancy.”
“The flowers I ordered for my friend in the hospital were delivered on time. Beautiful flowers!Unfortunately, the hospital had moved her out and she wasn't there to get them . This florist went out of their way to retrieve them and redeliver them to the new hospital.Great service and reasonable prices. So much better than the mediocre product and service I have dealt with before from internet florists. I dealt with a real ,interested human being local to the hospital..”
“They are always friendly and knowledgeable. Very helpful. Open year round. I go for the summer squash pickles. They are amazing. I suggest you stop by and take a look.”
