“this is by far one of the most underrated deli in New York if you want to drive all the way to Philadelphia for a cheesesteak you're making a huge mistake. “Came here to get a laundry basket which they had 1 to choose from. It was Sterilite brand & felt sturdy, it only came in one color, turquoise which was fine. However the top one was very dusty which I unfortunately happened to notice on a number of things in the store, that is, being dusty or dirty. I do also understand the times we are living in and don't expect everything in the store to be spotless. And as precautionary measures we should be disinfecting/cleaning the items we bring into our homesregardless Aside from that little sidenote the cashier was friendly and I found other things I needed. Sorry for such a long review but just being thorough.”

“I've wanted to review this deli for a while so here I go. I work close by and often get a hero for lunch or a breakfast sandwich when I'm hungry in the morning. Both have been spot on since I've been coming here which is many years now.The deli isn't in the greatest spot and doesn't really look like much. It's packed with food and drinks all over the place. Definitely giving you an "I'm not sure about this place" vibe at first. But I can assure you that the heroes and breakfast sandwiches are well made.Mary or Karen behind the counter are the best in the business! I love Karen but she definitely has less patients for the nonsense, so don't mess around! Mary is a sweetheart and once she has your sandwich down, she will make it flawlessly every time.If you're in the area and in the mood for a big old tasty sandwich, this is the spot! In the summer, hit them up on your way to Smiths Point. You wont regret it.”

“A modest place that has an absolutely gorgeous assortment of DELICIOUS sweets. My very favorite is the yellow one, which is made w/ chickpea flour (good for people following gluten free diets). The Veggie fritter was perfectly seasoned and just the right texture! They have dahl, samosas and chicken curry, etc., as well as items like fresh cilantro and ginger. I was in a hurry, but will definitely go back to try more things. WHAT A FIND.”

“The store inside is a bit run down but they have a great produce department as well as anything you typically find in a supermarket. The store employees are always eager to help with a smile. For checkouts I suggest not using the self checkouts. The machines are wonky! I was purchasing 4 items and the machine screamed 3 times for assistance, making me feel inadequate and puzzled. Nice store but checkout with a human. You'll be glad you did.”
