A few years back I spoke to the owner and mentioned beef marrow bones. I did not realize he ordered them. When in the store by chance this summer I saw he had them! My dog loves beef marrow bones, he eat 2-3 a week. I could not find anyone who carried them locally. I've been shuttling beef marrow bones in a cooler from Florida once a month on our trips. No more. KEEP THEM IN STOCK!!! I WILL BE IN THIS WEEK FOR MORE!

This place rocks!!! I went here for the first time with work buddies. Granted I live farther than the rest of us. The bartenders were awesome treated you well like family. Even if your not one of the regulars. Open atmosphere inside and out! Super clean and if you love dogs bring yours. I have never encountered a friendly place where good people have a great time with others and their dogs!!! Will come again !!!

Doug's Fish Fry

Had an excellent fish fry at aDoug's during a trip to Skaneateles, NY. The ambiance was cozy with a colorful mural that made us feel like we were by the sea. Service was friendly ... you step up to the register to place your order and then they call you when it is ready. Plenty of seating with outdoor tables as well. The fish fries were excellent. Fish was tasty and flakey and the sides were good as well. Loved the Cole slaw... so good . Large portions to satisfy the hungry! I would definitely recommend!

The Sherwood Inn

Had a wonderful dinner at the Sherwood Inn during our trip to Skaneateles. I had a delicious penne pasta with chicken and andouille sausage after starting with a bowl of tasty French onion soup. My wife's salmon was also delicious and we both loved the warm fresh bread that they serve to start. Shout out to Jamie who took great care of us. The hotel is beautiful... in the heart of the village and overlooking the lake ... established in 1807 as a tavern to be part of a stagecoach business... later converted into a hotel ... a beautiful historic building to stay and dine in. I highly recommend!
