The gentleman working late that night was kind enough to re open the coffee area and made us a fresh pot of coffee for us had such a wonderful bed side manner and made us laugh such a kind heated man we need more people in the world like him . “Dan at Distinctive Car Care is an honest and inexpensive mechanic. I had a few drops of coolant on my garage floor and thought there might be a radiator leak. I took my vehicle to a local dealer who quoted me over $1400 to replace the radiator. Dan tested the radiator and didn't find anything wrong (I wonder if the dealer even tested it???), but said if I wanted to replace the radiator that the cost would be about $850. However, Dan recommended that we wait and see if there is actually an issue. Who does that today? He gave me a great deal on the analysis. I would highly recommend Dan for any automotive repairs.”

“This place gets crazy, unlike most of the thruway stops this gas stations lanes are parallel with the highway and not angled. I know that sounds silly but with a boat and trailer this make a huge difference in blocking passing traffic or another gas pump trying to fill up. It gets busy fast with the layout. The stations is also the last stop on the way back onto the highway so there is always traffic. Traditionally there is always a handwritten sign on one of the pumps that credit card at the pump isn't working and you will need to go in the small station to pay. You will also find, or we have, that most of the chip readers on the pumps do not work and you'll end up having to go inside to pay anyway. There is a McDonalds plaza with other foods and ice creams as well. Gas prices are normally the same as across the highway at Sloatsburg”
