“I brought my Volkswagen Touareg into Bobbys to install an X pipe and my experience was absolutely fantastic. I am a car guy and absolutely love vehicles and my own cars so I’m always a bit worried to bring them to places to get work done but Bobbys reviews speak for themselves. His fantastic reputation is absolutely true and my needs were met and exceeded greatly. I called up this morning to make an appointment and immediately got a respectful answer and a time to come in from Bobby himself. When I arrived I was greeted by Bobby and his assistant who were both friendly, respectful and enjoyable to talk to. My car was immediately brought into the bay exactly at the appointment time and I got to meet one of Bobbys employees in the back as well. He instantly got to work on my car and the job was done in a timely fashion but to an extremely high quality. The waiting area has many cool car related models and race inspired products showing that Bobby sees cars in a way that true car guys do. When the job was done he had me come back to personally check the underside of the car to see the work was done correctly and had me start up the car with him to make sure everything was done correctly. Clearly a respectful and honest man of his word who hires only the hardest working, most respectful staff. My car is not worth a million bucks but it was treated with the same level of care as a brand new, worthless vehicle. It looked, smelled and drove exactly as it did when I brought it in but it just sounded a whole lot better. I will absolutely use Bobbys again with my next exhaust needs and I highly recommend them. Good price, fantastic staff and a job well done.”
“My family has been taking our cars to Rob for at least 15 years, and he's been absolutely amazing every time. When my brake fluid line fell apart in college and I had to go to firestone to get it fixed, I took it to him when I got home and it turns out they had run the line over the engine and it could've burst at any point throughout the drive home from CT and caused serious damage. Rob fixed the mistake and then called firestone and got every penny back from them for me. When the AC on my HRV stopped working, I took it to him and he told me that while he could charge me to fix it, the car was new enough to be under warranty and the dealership would fix it for free. Today I showed up without an appointment because my tire popped and started deflating and he had the thing off, fixed, and back on in under 10 minutes. If you need to get anything done to your car, myself and my entire family definitely recommend Rob. He's a genuine and straightforward guy who's gonna give you the absolute best for a fair price. If he ever retires, I'm just gonna start riding a bike”

“i brought 2017 mitsubishi lancer SEL here, when i called they were my last hope and im so glad i did business with them, they rebuilt my stubborn CVT TRANSMISSION after everyone else told me it wasn’t possible to rebuild it, they made what i thought would be impossible happen, they took the time to help me out however they could, i couldn’t be more relieved and grateful really thank you guys so much, it drives good again and continues to be driving well as i speak, after i was fighting for months with this transmission they revived it for real, amazing staff, really helped me out with pricing when i told them what i could only afford, really great place, go to smithtown transmissions”

“I sent my wife’s car to Smithtown Autobody recently and the minute I walked in i felt at ease when I spoke to the front desk. Then I spoke to Kevin and I discussed the dilemma I was in. The whole process was flawless from start to finish and the body shop is top notch. I had a cracked back panel on my wife’s Subaru forester. They fixed the problem and made the car look like it came out of the showroom.
Also to top it off they not only cleaned the outside of my wife’s car, they also cleaned my wife’s inside as well, and it was super clean which was unexpected but also very gratifying to see, and professional on all levels.
