“The owner Eve is a delight to work with, I was looking for a second opinion on an AC diagnosis. When I first called she asked me a series of questions to try and troubleshoot the cause so I'd have a ballpark idea of what could be the issue before bringing it in for an actual diagnosis. When I did and we ran the diagnosis, we confirmed the issue was the compressor (which other shops had also diagnosed). Eve went above and beyond however, and gave me a detailed breakdown of what the specific issue was, specifically it was the sensor inside. Not needed, but greatly appreciated for taking the time to breakdown and explain repair options. Everyone at the shop is friendly and serious about taking care of cars and taking time to get to know their customers. Just make sure to call ahead of time before visiting!”
“I can’t say enough about Paul and the team at Nut Just Lube in New Hyde Park. My wife’s 2019 Mercedes-Benz needed several repairs, and the dealership quoted us thousands of dollars. Paul did the work for about one-third of the dealer’s price—and went above and beyond in the process.
Not only did he complete the main repairs perfectly, but within that same fair price, he also replaced the brakes, fixed the emergency brake sensor, and addressed a few other issues that the dealership either ignored or wanted to charge four times more for.
It’s rare to find a shop that combines expert workmanship, transparency, and genuine care for their customers like this. If you want quality work at a fair price—and without the “luxury brand” mark-up—Paul and his Team are your guys. Highly recommend! I’ll never go anywhere else!”
“Came here yesterday- mounting, balancing and alignments for 4 new tires. In and out, no fuss no bull. To some it might sound weird as a review, but this was THE easiest time I ever had at a mechanic. There's about 25-30 mechanics in the same neighborhood and they ALWAYS suggest I get something else fixed (very annoying). Tony's was REALLY hospitable and quick. Will DEFINITELY come back.”

“I went to here to get something quick and fast to eat. Yes kind of crazy to go to the gas station to get something to eat, right? However that's the life of someone who's continuously on the move. Sometimes the best eats can come from a gas station as I experienced. So on the day which I walked into this gas station there was a young staff member behind the counter. He greeted me with a smile and as handsome as he was I had to smile back ?. I told him I was very hungry and I did not want anything fried. He said why don't you try the pizza? I kind of thought oh my goodness I'm going to have a greasy stomach I'm going to be sick all night. And it's probably going to taste like cardboard. None the less I had an open mind and he said "it's really good" how can I say no to such a handsome dude? so I waited approximately 5 to 7 minutes for a fresh, well as fresh as it can be from the refrigerator to the oven lol. So I waited for my little personal Pizza. I got it and it was nice and hot. I did not really expect much but I was hungry. when I took my first bite I was pleasantly surprised to find out it had just the amount of tomato sauce I preferred. The taste of the sauce was not bad either. No it wasn't Ray's famous Pizza. However, the softness of the crust, the flavorful tomato and the artificial cheese, I'm going to assume it's artificial because it didn't really taste like a specific mozzarella cheese. Nonetheless, that Little pizza satisfied me along with a cup of coffee and I was good for the rest of the evening. Will I be back ? I possibly will, for what ? of course for pizza at a gas station that's common sense right? LOL I also got gas and the gas prices were reasonable amongst other stations that are not too far from this particular one. The inside of the store was kept clean from what I seen. there was no garbage laying around on the outside either in the dirty driven New York City snow. I like clean areas if I am going to eat from there.”

“Found myself east bound on the Belt July 4th weekend with a sudden loss of brake power. I thought it was the master cylinder which translates to major money. Staff quickly diagnosed as a faulty caliper costing substantially less than I was expecting. They test drove it to make sure all was well and even adjusted air in all my tires without being asked. I only wish these guys were in my neighborhood.Good going guys. Thanks Big Time!!”

“I have been coming to this shop for over 20 years. This shop is the by far the most quality oriented shop I have ever dealt with in conjunction with price. Junior always gives me options from high-quality to regular- quality parts depending on my budget. He explains the difference and takes the time explain issues. This shop is a gem.
This is the 3rd vehicle I am servicing here and I have always received quality repairs. I recall going to a different local shop once because of being stranded. I was initially happy because of the low-cost but later realized that I made a mistake with using the other shop when I had to redo the same job. I have since stayed here and will always stay with JR. Oh and btw, Junior does his own reprogramming in-house. I have seen him in action. Other shops use 3rd parties and then tack on a fee.”
“Stopped by to jump a dead Benz S550 battery. I didn't get the name of the person who attended me but he was a very courteous, knowledgeable and down to earth kind of guy. I came back an hour and 45 minutes later and am told that the battery could not be jumped and was completely dead (emitted a rotten egg smell). I asked how much I owed and he said not to worry about it. That is the kind of service you expect from a family member. I have found my new mechanic.”

Even let me borrow his personal car to get home and I picked up my car next morning. To the people complaining about high prices, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I do all my own work, but if I need something specific like balance, alignment, inspection, Peter is the best, no comparison. I build my own engines and trust this man’s shop to do work that I can’t complete myself in the home garage.”
“If this is the "Nor" station (there are a couple that share that name-fragment) in which Hogan works - I offer a strong endorsement. Had significant issue arise while crossing the Throg's Neck(!) - overheating, electrical problems, and power steering loss... all at once. Made it off the clearview, got towed to Nor. Hogan was exceptional. Loss of serpentine belt is not a difficult diagnosis - but he was fast, candid, and honest - and very pragmatic about what additional work might be in order, but brought no pressure to the convo. Really solid customer-facing guy that would likely excel in any service-oriented business. Go there with confidence, and ask for Hogan.”
