Every time we go it's clean, employees approach us to help us, people are friendly, and they have what we need. Today I did a return that was entirely hassle-free. The last time my husband and I went an employee spent 15 minutes with us helping us find the right-sized screw for a project. “Our co-op referred us to Berger Appliance in August when our in wall AC died in our living room. Berger Appliance had to order the unit but it came within a week and they took out the old one and installed the new one without any issues. Price was on par with any big box store. This October our dishwasher also started to go and to repair quote was basically half the cost of what a new one without the reassurance the new part would 100% fix the issue or how long the fix would last, so we went for a new dishwasher with Berger Appliance. We used the plumber referred to used by Berger's and he took care of uninstalling our old one and installing the new one. Like before everyone was great and we had no issues. Again the price of unit was on par with any big box store and the install via the plumber was exactly what you would pay from someone like Best Buy. Both installs the employees were friendly, polite, and cleaned up after themselves. We would highly recommend Berger Appliance”
“I first encountered Appliance Driven a year or so ago when I needed to buy a new refrigerator. I wanted to support a local company, and at the time, they were located in Mt. Vernon where I live.Know that expression, "measure twice, cut once?" Well, I didn't measure twice and the delivery guys came out to my house with a refrigerator that was too big for my doorway - and my kitchen. Both the delivery guys and Fabian (my sales rep) were SO nice about my terrible mistake. When they returned with the perfectly-fitting refrigerator, they had it installed and the old fridge carted away in no time at all. The whole experience was easy and beyond pleasant, and I am in LOVE with my refrigerator.Now, a year later, I needed to purchase a stand-alone freezer for my growing cookie company. I immediately went to Appliance Driven based on my previous experience with them. Once again, the service was outstanding. Fabian helped me find exactly what I needed, scheduled the delivery for a time that was convenient for me, and had it at my house within a week. The same delivery guys were back with the freezer, and I cannot say enough about how professional and kind they are.If I could, I would give Appliance Driven more than 5 stars. I will always look to them first when I have an appliance need and recommend them whole-heartedly to others.”

“My wife and I remotely purchased a gas grill as a housewarming gift for our son and daughter-in-law. I first called Mr. Dunstan last week. He was very knowledgeable, funny...and truthful. He assessed our kids' needs over the phone, and sent us quotes on numerous grills to check out. Many phone calls and emails (very quick turn-around!) ensued, but he never lost his patience or his good humor.When my son came to the showroom on Saturday, I arranged with Mr. Dunstan that if my son wanted a more expensive grill than (the very nice Napoleon Prestige Pro 500) we wanted to get them, Mr. Dunstan would just quote him the differential in price instead of the total. Try doing that on Amazon...I'm sure there might be some brands where his margin might be higher, but he absolutely sold us the best grill for the money. I'm old school, and I want a nearby brick-and-mortar to purchase any item that I can't fit it my car if it breaks. Mr. Dunstan is old-school as well: he knows the goods, and he will tell you the honest truth about them. I am guessing he has a high percentage of repeat customers.Just in case you were wondering: I highly recommend buying your next grill from Al Dunstan at Curto's.”

“Very pleased with my 2nd experience purchasing from Scott at Oberg & Lindquist. I have previously purchased appliances for my past 2 residences from Home Depot. About a year ago, I needed to replace an LG microwave w/vent system. Scott matched my best price, his service installers were exceptional, and they accommodated me when I found a defect in the appliance by promptly replacing it w/a new unit. I just purchased a KitchenAid dishwasher from Scott and it was delivered sooner than expected. Again, the service installers were prompt, efficient, and professional, unlike my experience w/the big box stores. Their plumber arrived shortly after my appliance was delivered and installed, and I was honestly impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. Overall, I cannot be more satisfied with the entire experience. Scott recommended this KitchenAid model, and although I was "just looking" on the day I walked into his store, he did not pressure me in the least to complete my purchase. He was straightforward and I believe he gave me an excellent recommendation. I am thoroughly satisfied with my new dishwasher and will continue to purchase appliances from this company and, specifically, from Scott.”

“Everyone complains about poor service but I'd like to highlight some exceptionally good service.On November 4 I went to the Paramus NJ store to purchase foam insulation boards and rent a vehicle to transport them. First I signed up for the rental then went to purchase the product. I faced disappointment when the boards were not in the location they were supposed to be and store staff had to locate and them and bring them down from a high shelf. Then I had to check out the very bulky items. The process took time and I was on the rental clock. But what could have been a frustrating experience was turned pleasant by the friendly and helpful store staff. I was especially impressed with the tool/vehicle rental staff who noticed the purchase delay and reset the rental clock before I even asked (I was told it is policy to allow consideration for purchase time but the staff tracked it without me having to make a fuss). Now it looks like I'll need to purchase a dishwasher soon. Paramus HD is now #1 on my shopping list!(BTW I got an email for the survey but I was busy, and before I had a chance to fill it in, the survey expired. Seems to expire after 7 days - not enough time for people busy with their projects!)”

We just enjoyed our 1st fire and it was a quality install once again. Dave is a perfectionist. Takes care of everything. So tidy as well. My husband and I would give him 10 stars !!!”
