Very reasonable prices for a great staff and wonderful doctor. “I have been coming here for years and for the last few visits I encountered a receptionist by the name of KELLY who has been extremely rude to me, but today she crossed the line when she cursed at me to my face for asking her a question. It’s a shame that they have people like her working here, she lacks not only customer service skills but empathy towards pets. Dr. V needs to hire someone who is professional and has class.”

“I don't think I have ever written a review but I need to. I love this man. I've been using him for the last few years and I can't say enough good things. His new assistant is also wonderful. Not having to take my sick 15 year old cat on a stressful car ride is worth every penny. And his prices are amazing in my opinion. You won't pay for unnecessary things either. He is kind,truthful and down to earth. Please keep in mind that it may take time to get an initial appointment. He is not an emergency vet. He is very up front about this.”

“The vet here was absolutely phenomenal. He understood my financial situation and worked with me. My cat, Bryan, seems to be doing better. I came in frantic and scared, but the staff was extremely empathetic and prompt in getting Bryan the care he needed. We are still monitoring Bryan, but he is doing better. “I love Banfield. I trust them wholeheartedly and I love all the techs. And as for the Vets, there is no comparison with Vet clinics. They truly are well trained and informed personnel. Here at my home site in Staten Island, there are always employees ready to assist you with any question you may have. They followup beautifully and want to resolve all your concerns pertaining to your cherished pet. I won't go anywhere else. When I go to New Jersey for visits, I also go to Banfield in Robbinsville. They are just as wonderful. I highly recommend them for your pet insurance, and anything else you need. I truly depend on them. Thank goodness for Banfield.”

“BAY STREET ANIMAL HOSPITAL did a fantastic job with my cat Teddy Nemo. Teddy had been crying alot and struggling to go to the bathroom. I had no idea what to do, I was very stressed out! I made a few calls, and found Bay Street Animal Hospital, 999 Bay Street, Staten Island. They said they take walk-ins (emergency situations get seen immediately). The walk-in price is $150 to get full check-up. They reported they are open 24/7. I was RELIEVED to hear all of that, PLUS the kind person with whom I spoke-- SAMANTHA-- really made me feel LESS stressed. She was kind and welcoming when Teddy Nemo and I walked in. It is SO important to get COMPASSIONATE helpful staff at the front desk!! Thank you Samantha ❤️. Next we were greeted by Andre--- SO pleasant and helpful and very understanding when I said I was so worried about Teddy! Then Dr. Arleo came in to do a thorough check up on Teddy. Overall, I loved the way they treated me and Teddy. Consummate Professionals, very knowledgeable, accommodating, excellent listening skills. Dr. Arleo was super kind, empathetic, helpful, and understood my financial concerns. I am profoundly GRATEFUL to everyone at Bay Street Animal Hospital and I will not forget how kind & wonderful they treated me & my cat, Teddy. A thousand THANK YOUs to all of you!
