This Trader Joe’s is for people who want to feel rich without actually being rich. Everyone is calm, polite, and quietly convinced they are making excellent choices. We read labels. We nod. We say things like “Wait, I actually needed this,” knowing full well we absolutely did not.
The staff is suspiciously pleasant. The snacks feel cultured but affordable. You leave with a reusable bag, no regrets, and the belief that you are doing just fine.
Five stars for affordable sophistication and emotional stability.”
“Great selection of infused olive oils if you are in the market for that. We purchased two bottles of EVOO a Sicilian and a Greek. Also purchased a bottle of the white balsamic vinegar. The staff was very friendly and know there product very well. They also carry gift sets with multiple small bottles of vinegars and oils.”
“With the cost of choice beef so high in the supermarket, I'm reluctant to buy it. Fred offers prime beef for just a little more per pound and it is worth the price. Helpful staff and lots of unique grocery items, too”

“This Hannaford is among the best stocked and quickest, most easily accessible stores in the area. Everyone is super helpful and they have what you need! I asked the bakery manager if they could change where they put the sticky labels on half loaves of bread. It made it impossible to open the bag without tearing it apart. They actually did it and I'm sure I'm not only grateful customer! Thanks guys!”

“Truckers, when making a schwan's delivery, call in advance to schedule your delivery in the evening. If you get to Saratoga Springs early, you can park along the Walmart drive next to Lowe's. Park as close to the curb as possible, as that side of Walmart is also their customer pickup side. Be respectful of the local people shopping there. Do not try parking on the west side. There's no room. There's is also no room near schwan's to park.”

“I stopped by today again and they had more stuff on the shelves. I got a couple things cookies and these they weren't chips they were shaped like onion rings but they were like cheesy poofs but they were made with Parmesan cheese and a sour starch. My roommate will eat those I will eat the yummy cookies. The person I believe was that the cash register is the owner of the store. And they have the newer system so you can get an email of your receipt which I like. They'll be opening a bakery with for Breads and stuff. It looks nice I can't wait till they have baked goods.”
“Just recently moved back to the area from out west. I'm so glad to be back around little stores like this that aren't part of a giant chain of stores. These guys make the best cookie I've ever had in my entire life and they're made right in the store. If you've never had them swing by and get yourself a fresh batch of raspberry burst cookies! You can thank me later LOL”

The medical system — a tech, otherwise helpful. Literally dismissed my factual account of “the lost wallet.” This woman said I had my phone when I left the pharmacy counter (my phone was at our home). She literally wanted to look around

“First: slowest gas pumps in the world. Painfully slow...but the guys who work there are always super nice, so that's a win.Beyond that, where else can you get fried chicken, pizza, chana masala, a Slushie drink, a new bong *and* find a pretty comprehensive selection of car parts, craft beer and sneakers? Seriously. And cologne. They have everything in there.”

“Ellen, the pharmacist at Price Chopper, is a lifesaver. I was flustered because we could not get an important seizure med for my dad. He had been in the hospital for 7 days due to a severe seizure. We were sent home in this medicine but had not been able to get it for over 48 hours. I was worried he would have another seizure. Many other pharmacies were not able to get it. She was able to find some of the medicine and patiently walked me through all the steps needed to have the rx moved over. I am very grateful for her patience and her ability to find this for us.”
“Romas to Cardonas: from ordering your sandwich choices in a line, step by step, to placing your order, in one step, right up front, so now I know how it works. Sub preparation seemed a bit slower but WAS worth the wait. I went with the turkey sub today...lettuce, tomato, onion, swiss cheese and mayonnaise. It was mos def Ken's mayo this time, which is fantastic on a turkey sub! Thought they provided Hellman's mayo my previous visit which I'm not fan of. Anyhow, to wrap up, cashier at the end was very nice and my turkey sub was kick-ass. It's been a minute...glad I went today. Be seeing you all again! Thank you!”
“I was not expecting to be writing a review for Target, but I was so impressed with a recent experience that I felt the need to share. My wife and I were heading to the check-out registers hand carrying just four items and an empty reusable Target bag. There were two registers open with lines of people pushing baskets filled with goods. The self-checkout stations were all busy and a few more customers were on queue there. Just as we stopped to peruse where we would choose to lineup, a voice spoke out to us asking if we were planning to use either a credit or debit card. As we turned to the voice speaking, we observed an employee standing at a small table amongst some clothing displays holding a portable, wireless, credit card terminal. We responded in the affirmative to using a credit card and she promptly checked us out and provided a printed receipt. Two minutes and we were on our way. It wasn't the technology that amazed me, I first saw this over twenty years ago in Europe, it was the customer service. Recognizing that we had few items and our own bag for carryout, this employee singled us out for a quick and easy checkout process. Thank you, Target store manager, for effectively managing your staff. During this current time of difficulty finding workers, I should also mention that I was impressed with the number of employees I saw throughout the store stocking merchandise. This was quite refreshing.”

“The reason the naysayers complain is that they have no idea what true beef jerky is. They think it’s some soggy Jack crap made out of who knows what. This is true beef jerky that one moistens with their own saliva until it is soft and savors the flavor. It’s all about instant gratification these days. God only knows what preservatives the “big” companies need to add to make their ground meat appear to be true jerky. Two thumbs up to this jerky company!!!”
