“Ellen, the pharmacist at Price Chopper, is a lifesaver. I was flustered because we could not get an important seizure med for my dad. He had been in the hospital for 7 days due to a severe seizure. We were sent home in this medicine but had not been able to get it for over 48 hours. I was worried he would have another seizure. Many other pharmacies were not able to get it. She was able to find some of the medicine and patiently walked me through all the steps needed to have the rx moved over. I am very grateful for her patience and her ability to find this for us.”
“Round lake road Hannaford my favorite grocery store in the area. It's small but has everything I need. I even started buying things like soap, shampoo, ziploc bags and aluminum foil there because prices are reasonable; just a few cents above Target and I don't need to spend on gas. The store is usually clean and well stocked. The staff is friendly and self checkouts work well.”
“I have been shopping at Hannaford since they opened in Saratoga. There has always been issues with personnel. Maybe it is just my way of thinking, I was brought up believing in manners, respect, etc. I visited the store a week ago, obeyed the face mask rule, also wore disposable gloves, went the correct way up the aisles. I got a bit confused where to stand in line, been recovering from a stroke and 1st time out by myself in 5 months. Cashier sort of sapped at me where to stand. She could have said it in a nicer tone. Then she started to talk, I couldn't hear, front end manager said "less taking, more working." I was shocked, mad and embarrassed for this cashier. It isn't WHAT she said, but how she said it. Went to Target a few days later and none of this snappiness happened. They seemed happy to see me!”
“Pellegrino is my weekly stop for Boar's Head and Pellegrino homemade cole slaw and macaroni salad. Staff is great, and they know exactly how I want my cold cuts cut! Steve did a sandwich platter for my Long Island guests, and it was a hit! It is a pleasure to give them my business !”

“Christina is awesome!! I was so glad this place came on my radar. Great selection of meats, local produce (some grown there), beer, non-alcoholic spirits, goat soap, locally made plant based cheese/milk/meat alternatives…….just so much good stuff!! Picked up some amazing salami and crackers and kimchi. I’ll be back for sure!! I appreciate the thought put into every item being carried, not only for its food value, but for the values of the companies behind the products.”

“Italian sub all the way with a pickle on the side! Any of the pasta salads but I usually go to mozzarella/tomato or the pasta salad. The atmosphere is everything here, always welcoming and friendly! I saw another customer who looked unsure so I told him what I always get and he jumped right on board. Missing the Joe’s Tea drinks and hope they do get them back in for next time :)Must try if ever looking for an Italian deli/sub shop in Saratoga!”

“I had purchased an item yesterday from the Fresh Market , when I got home I realized the item was expired, shame on me for not checking the date. I called this morning and spoke to Lindsay who was so friendly and pleasant. She said she will check the shelves to make sure nothing else was expired and told me that I can come back at any time for a full refund or replacement! I will definitely continue shopping there.”
“Under new management again - which was necessary for their survival. I've been back twice over the last week and the staff are friendly and the food is back up to par. Still a bit pricey but that's everywhere now. If you stayed away due the previous management situation, suggest giving it another try.”
“(I lived on Guam for the last 2 years, where nothing gets to the island if not frozen and then boated there so my opinions may be bias. The fruit isn't rotting? You can find fresh milk, AND it's not $10 a gallon? There's more than 1 option for the thing you want? It's heaven.) My go to grocery shopping spot. Large selection, good deals, fresh produce, and usually not very busy. It is annoying that when you have an issue with self checkout there isn't someone there to help right away, you just have to stand and wait but it's not a huge deal ?”

“Jim was very friendly and conversational! He gave us so many facts about the company and variety of “jerky” offered! Even Vegan Jerky! And both were delicious. Jim was generous to offer a free sample of his “fav pick” but he had to open a new package since I was about to buy the last one on the shelf. And, if I didn’t care for it, I didn’t have to pay. It was great-Cajun brisket!”
“I'm from NYC... In upstate NY, this is the closest you're gonna get to NYC Pizza! Thin crust, great sauce, cheesy! I was skeptical about this place at first, then the food came out and I was in Heaven! The boneless wings were AMAZING! Pure cut chicken cutlets, lightly breaded. I will be back soon!! Also, the waitress Rachel was extremely kind and attentive. She made sure our food was right and our cups filled!!!”
“A friend took me there and I was a kid in the candy store lol. Staff is super kind and knowledgeable. Great selection of veggies and fruit. Let's not talk about the herbalist herbs they have something for every ailment your battling. Wish there was one in Cohoes. Thank you guys for introducing me to a healthy life style.”

“I stopped by today again and they had more stuff on the shelves. I got a couple things cookies and these they weren't chips they were shaped like onion rings but they were like cheesy poofs but they were made with Parmesan cheese and a sour starch. My roommate will eat those I will eat the yummy cookies. The person I believe was that the cash register is the owner of the store. And they have the newer system so you can get an email of your receipt which I like. They'll be opening a bakery with for Breads and stuff. It looks nice I can't wait till they have baked goods.”
“The employees at this store are always kind and there to go the extra mile for their customers to make them feel comfortable and want to come back... definitely my favorite Dollar General store!”
“I have to tell you how happy my families are to have extended seafood section back!!! They used to have fresh and reasonable seafood when they first opened, but changed into all prepared foods soon after and we had to find other places even though we live so close by. This week, we decided to give a try again for several different type of fish. And they were very very fresh and tasty!Also I just want to point out that Greg (I think he is a new person at the seafood section) was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable! He definitely understands people who are picky and selective about only good quality seafood! I can tell even just looking at them. My 16 months boy is also very happy about your seafood! He is a picky eater!Hope to see more variety like more shell fish and omega3 packed small fish like sardines too!Thanks for the great work, Greg!!!”

“Asian/Indian store have increased around the area with population growth of the minority population. This was one of the first asian/Indian stores opened in the Saratoga County by the Sihal family who owned another grocery store and a restaurant location in Albany county. The management has recently changed. You do get to buy stuff that you wouldn't find at Walmart or a local grocery store that are used in a South Asian household. My family goes there every Thursday as they get fresh vegetables and meat. The vegetables are purchased in NYC and brought here. You get the green chilis that are spicier than the one in your local store....I addition you get to buy tropical fruits jack fruits, green pumpkin, lychee and guava. I go there for my Mukwas (mouth freshener...soamp), Thums up (Indian soda) and mango kulfi.”
“Truckers, when making a schwan's delivery, call in advance to schedule your delivery in the evening. If you get to Saratoga Springs early, you can park along the Walmart drive next to Lowe's. Park as close to the curb as possible, as that side of Walmart is also their customer pickup side. Be respectful of the local people shopping there. Do not try parking on the west side. There's no room. There's is also no room near schwan's to park.”

Then you get the hit of the beautiful heat flavor. It's extremely tasty. It's an easy 8/10 highly recommend. Especially if your a carnaseour about your jerk flavs...”
