“The new owners just opened the store about a week ago and they are just the nicest people ever they were very accommodating and helped me with any questions I had and plus they have 30 percent off the whole store for grand opening sales and they have a solid selection of stuff to choose from snacks ramen drinks and even foreign makeup products with a very convenient location right across from the stonybrook train station!”

“Very cool store. Some products are very expensive, for example stakes which is 50 bucks a pound for prime cut, compare to 28-32 bucks on avarage. In other hand, some products are really really affordable, for example pasta sauce, milk, baby food, cold cuts, ice cream have a very nice price”

“I Don't go there often. Today I picked up a few things for my wife. For me I got a great Roast Beef Hero on home made bread. For dinner I bought 2 1/2 racks of beef ribs. They were meaty and moist, as hood as any Resaurant. I will be back.”
“Just discovered the spot. We went to see one of our favorites musicians play. We didn't even know they had music. Laid back, outdoor area, with some grilled barbecue options for purchase. Pretty sure it was BYOB. At least we did. Super sad that we only discovered it and there's only a couple more weeks of music. I guess there's always next year! “It looks like a cleaner store than the others. There is alot all over so I think make a list so you can better navigate around. Some items I got were: avocados, 5 for $3.19 which is good value, Buffalo chicken calzones for $2.79 are hardy and salads in bowls (chicken, lettuce n cheese in separate pockets of the bowl) for $2.59. You can buy a good amount for $40 .”

“What a great find! This place is hidden in plain sight. Went to the market cause we wanted to make some spicy and sour soup, walked in to the incredible smell of food. Had to sit and order. People there were incredibly kind and helpful. We ordered apps and meals. Food was insane. Portions were plentiful and absolutely delicious. Will definitely be heading back to try some other items. Meat was so tender!”

“Fantastic food, so flexible, great price, terrific staff. From the ordering to the changes, suggestions, tastings, communication, Jason's made my daughter's wedding at Old Westbury Gardens wonderful. In addition to Jason's excellent food and huge menu variety (he's happy to go off menu as well), Jason's wait staff (Florie, Mario and the rest of the crew!) were so attentive, prepared, friendly, and on the ball, it was truly the best service I'd had at any wedding. I'm not sure how we could have managed with anyone else.

“I absolutely love oriental groceries in Stony Brook! I recently started cooking different kinds of Asian food and no matter what I need for the dish, whether it’s fresh bean sprouts, Thai basil, udon noodles, fresh Thai chili peppers or noodles for my Pho, they never disappoint. (and on Saturdays, they have fresh homemade dishes for purchase, ie Bahn Mi) The prices are great and the staff is always happy to help. If you’re in Stony Brook you definitely have to check them out!”
