“It’s a small post office, might seem a bit outdated as well. But i actually like that about it, the small town vibes. I have been here several times since i moved. The lines vary depending on the time of day. They are open till 7pm on weekdays so that’s helpful. Every time i have been there the clerks have been super helpful. I needed a lot of help deciding what package to send and save money as well when mailing a package to Europe and robert(clerk) was really nice and helped me with weighing the stuff and even told me about the best options. I needed that just so i can decide the best route to go. The clerks are always nice about making sure the mail is properly wrapped as well. Once i didn’t have the label on right and the clerk took the time and fixed it instead of just sending me away to fix it myself. I appreciated that. So over all i would recommend this place.”

“As an eBay seller, this is the only USPS location I will go to. They are so incredibly kind, helpful, & patient when I come in with multiple items to ship. The lines move fast, parking is easy, & they really value your business.”

“They have exemplary customer service when I stop by in person, but I do keep getting other people’s mail. Also, the town isn’t all that big, if they set out at 07:10 to do their route(s), then why is it that In almost 10 hours it hasn’t arrived. I live not even 2 minutes away. Aside from that, they’re a grade A post office.”

“I was in and out of this location relatively quickly. The staff was very friendly and location was well maintained. Not sure what the negative reviews were expecting but they get the job done better then most location IMO. If you expect straight forward effective service from a post office, this location is head and shoulders above most.”

“The people that work out of the Wanaque post office are very helpful and go out of their way to help their customers it's a shame that USPS is such a terrible organization that when you have a problem you cannot get in touch with any body it is Mid March and we are just getting some Christmas cards delivered UPS just outright sucks”

“All of the staff there are absolutely the best. Specially NOELL ! They're all very kind and helpful and I've never had any problems, no matter how busy they are. Noell is extraordinary though. She always apologizes for the wait, even if there are only a few in line. She is thorough, friendly, helpful, kind and so sincere. She seems to LOVE helping people. We are SO very lucky to have her in our great post office of Ringwood NJ”

“Always a nice, pleasant experience. Small, local and friendly. Sad to see a handful of poor reviews heavily outweigh the hard work of our Saddle River postal team. Let's get it back to 5 stars. Thank you from Fox Hedge road!”

“The service here is top notch. I applied for a PO box and the gentleman working at the desk was super helpful. I came in right before closing and figured I might have to come back another time but he made sure I was taken care of right then.”

“Frequent customer at this location and the guys upfront (Scott, Oswald, Eric) have been nothing short of a delight and respectful and very helpful each and every time. With that being said, some reactions and reviews here give a false impression of this office to the public and are only based on what I have witnessed as customers having a lack of courtesy towards the gentlemen and wanting to be immune to the USPS policies. Keep up the good work Wyckoff Post Office, and Thank You.”

“All the stars for John, who helped me with passport things today. Negative stars for the woman taking pictures for the passport and processing- she rolled her eyes and huffed when I had a question. In general she was super rude, and I was nothing but polite? If it had been busy I might have understood the frustration, but it wasn't and she didn't even try to help get my documents correct.”

“I accidently had the package delivered to the wrong address. While I didn't panic, I went to the USPS and was kindly treated with great care. They took down some info regarding how to contact me and they were able to re-route my package to the correct location, 48hrs after the fact. I appreciate the service!”

“Friendly knowledgeable staff. Came in at closing and they were able to get my packages out in no time. They are the model of what a USPS location should be. The place is always neat and they do their best to keep the lines down.”

“We went to Pearl River Post Office for our passport service. Such a great experience we had over there. Steve and Suraj did take care of everything. Suraj gave us the appointment and the forms to fill in. Once we are there Steve took care of the application process. Took pictures for passport at the Post Office.Customer Care was amazing. We didn't have to wait. I will recommend this place to my friends.”

“I’ve been coming here for a while now. The counter people are super nice. The rest…. We’ll USPS is my last choice with any packages. They lie and pass the buck with the worst of them. I sent an overnight package cross country and the carrier ON VIDEO went to the door, looked around and left. No notice, knock or doorbell. The same carrier came back the next morning, signed my clients name (incorrectly) and dropped it in the mail box. They denied me a refund with no explanation. I have the cure… it’s ongoing ???”

“I don't understand why all the negative reviews because Debbie, Sophia and Adrian are simply the BEST!! They're all so helpful and friendly and most importantly, extremely efficient and fast!! It doesn't get any better!! Instead of 5 Stars, I would rate them a 10 out of 10 if I could!!The service at this Post Office is excellent in every single way!! I wish every U.S. Post Office was this wonderful!!”

“This is my favorite branch. It’s always clean and the staff is super friendly. I always run into people here who complain about everything but it’s the same people who’ve decided to come on a lunch break or they’re in the middle a rush to something else. A customers lack of time management has nothing to do with the staffing here”

“I grew up in Waldwick and moved out when I got married. I never had a problem with the Post Office until we moved to West Orange which is serviced by the Orange Post Office. Trust me, you have no idea what poor service is until you move into a neighborhood that is only serviced by new and temporary carriers because the route you're on is one that the experienced carriers will not bid on as a work assignment because of hilly terrain. We had lost packages, missorted mail, missed deliveries, wet mail, you name it. The only good that became of their incompetence was that we became familiar with our neighbors by delivering the missorted mail to the correct people.”

“I will only go to the HIllsdale PO. I live in Westwood where they are incompetent with terrible customer service. The USPS has gone in the toilet and not like it used to be. They need to hire people that are pleasant.”

“I’ve had a very positive experience with them in regards to an individual mail hold. Led me in the right direction of how to go about doing the hold and they helped me with extending a few extra days as well without having to re-login and adjust the dates.”

“I always noticed the ratings here are so low and have to say I had an amazing experience with customer service. Therefore I came to boost the ratings. Diane! What a great employee! She helped the customer in front of me by repackaging her package the correct way for her rather then making the customer do it herself. She apologized for the wait but I didn’t mind because that was so nice of her. When it was my turn I had 35 certified mail to process. She informed me it would take long so she went out of her way for me and got a chair for me to sit and wait while she processed them. She felt bad so she told me go home I’ll call you when I’m done so that she can also help other customers in the meantime. What an amazing employee! Thanks for your hard-work I really appreciate it :)”

“Phillip who helped me today deserves a raise. I could tell he was managing a line of impatient guests while helping me on the phone and he was handing everyone with such patience and grace. USPS workers really need more support and respect, kindness and patience. It’s a thankless job, and it’s especially harder during the holiday season. Thank you Phillip!Edited to add Corina was also super nice and helpful and whoever I spoke to last…needs an attitude adjustment. Super rude for absolutely no reason. Thanks.”
