The United States Postal Service in Suffern provides efficient and courteous service. It is a small post office that might seem a bit outdated, offering small town vibes. The staff is consistently super friendly, polite, and super helpful despite sometimes facing unrealistic expectations and unwarranted hard times from clientele. Clerks are always nice, taking time to assist with packaging, weighing items, explaining the best mailing options to save money, and fixing issues like incorrect labels. The location has helpful hours, being open until 7pm on weekdays and offering more hours than other nearby post offices. While lines vary depending on the time of day, the experience is generally a pleasure. The workers, both inside and along their routes, are noted for their pleasant smiles and positive attitudes. They provide reliable help with passports, mailing taxes, overnighting important documents, and resolving package issues. Overall, it is a recommended place for its real life, dependable service.
Efficient and courteous service no matter what day or time I go. The staff is always friendly despite the demands of the unrealistic expectations of some clientele who clearly demonstrate their lack of consideration for others. It hasn’t always been this way. Thank you and God bless all the Suffern post office workers!

Nice staff here. A little slow like any government agency.

They need to update their hours. Claimed to be open until 4 pm on Sat but door was locked at 3:50 pm or earlier. Please put the actual time you close the doors to the public.
