“This is one of two Grand Unions in Oneida County, the first in decades, and the first in the region since the Hamilton store closed in 2009. Price Chopper and Tops' merger forced the latter to sell ten in the state to C&S which revived GU. It was only the second one this year I've gone to after Cortland. It's new to the young people, but older folks will remember. Not quite the Grand Union my late grandma went to in Albany County, but like the old days, having it out of reach only makes me want to go back. Now if they could just replace closed Tops's in Syracuse on the south side and Westvale as well as Ithaca on S Meadow Dr and Great American in Star Lake.”
“The Dollar General is great. They almost always have some items that you won't find in any of the big box stores or anywhere else for that matter. Most items are not of the highest quality but if you manage your expectations, you'll leave happy.”
“Small convience store located on the outskirts of Rome, NY. Owned by muslims but well stocked and well maintained. Lots of products that you'd expect from any other convience store. They sell gas here too.”

“Great customer service! The employee's are awesome & always friendly & happy to see you. They keep the store clean & over-stocked. Always have fresh coffee ☕ & if it has been sitting for a while they have no problem dumping it & making fresh for you. Opens early for the early risers (opens at 6 am) & is open late for the night owls (closes at 11 pm). Stop in & get a fresh cup of coffee any time of day!”

“The staff here are excellent. They work hard and have great customer service. DG Corporate should know they have a great crew in the Vernon store! I’m in at least once a week for the past 5+ years and have ZERO complaints. Store is never messy, everything is well stocked and organized. You’re doing great work!They’ve also added more refrigeration so they have a wide selection of frozen foods and also sell milk, eggs, cheese, some meats like bacon and deli meats. This was a huge upgrade for the area.”

“UPDATE....WENT BACK TO GET A REFUND AND THE GUY AT THE COURTESY DESK LITERALLY TOLD ME AND I QUOTE...."I DON'T CARE." WHEN I TOLD HIM WHY WE WERE RETURNING THE DISGUSTING FRIED CHICKEN. WOW JUST WOW I WILL NOT SPEND ANOTHER PENNY IN THIS STORE! Just bought fried chicken from their deli and it was disgusting! It tastes like it was put in the same fryer as their fish! Gross. Apparently no one cares tried calling the store and no one would pick up! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRICE CHOPPER AT ALL, I GIVE THEM 1 STAR AND THAT IS BEING GENEROUS!”

“I live local, I have been ordering subs from circle k for 5 years , when I called to order today Michelle answered and she was very nice and enthusiastic. It might not seem like the tone of voice would mean much , but it does! It makes me feel like they are happy to help assist me with my order. The over the phone interaction is just as important to me as the in person action!! She was just amazing. She read my order back to me, she gave her opinion when I asked what’s popular or a good combination sandwich wise, she took her time! In the past I have been rushed on the phone, or just very short and monotone. She just stood out to me!! It’s nice to have friendly people in this world and she did awesome!!! She should be recognized for her performance! Over the phone work ethic is highly as important as in person in my eyes and she nailed it!! Thanks so much Michelle for assisting me with my order. I just had to write a review, I don’t normally write them but she just made my day! So if you want to order subs, Michelle is great at that. Projects her voice & speaks clearly. Awesome. I love Circle K & The subs so it’s nice having a good experience for the first time in a while.”

“This is one of newer Dollar General stores, its well lit clean, shelves are well stocked and I can usually find what I want or need. You still need to be aware of pricing as some items can be purchased at a lower price in other stores.”
