“The most magical place. The complementary breakfast is decadent and having dinner at the corner restaurant is an absolute delight. The staff is very thoughtful and they even included at handwritten welcome card in our room when we checked in. If you're planning to stay in the hudson valley this is well worth a visit if only for a chance to dine at the corner.”

“Absolutely lovely Inn, located right in the heart of the town. Very charming inside. The hosts, John and Pamela, gave great suggestions where to go, dining and cocktails. Highly recommend the Gables of Rhinebeck!”

“Overall good experience and worth checking out if you’re in Rhinebeck, located in a historical inn with lots of charm.French onion soup originally came out cold, but they heated it up and the flavor was great.Burger was cooked to the proper temperature requested and was very juicy. I loved their fries - both regular and sweet potato.Club and BLT sandwiches were both good and were very large.Good experience, solid overall.”

“Truly a perfect location, friendly staff, nice rooms, unique proposition where the hotel has multiple locations/buildings throughout town. The hotel bar had some really unique and fun cocktails, including a fun sidecar-esque martini and a tequila based creamy coffee cocktail. The continental breakfast is great, easy but good quality, with attentive staff.Rooms are nice and uniquely appointed, and clean!Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Kingston. We brought a dog and it was pooch-approved also!Walkability: Definitely hugely walkable to get around town, and even can walk to a small strip mall that’s a quarter mile awayFood & drinks: Continental breakfast in the morning. The hotel’s restaurant is great, and contends with any top option in the area.Bar is small but lovely with unique cocktails.”

“A jewel in the center of Saugerties. Well-appointed rooms--with fantastic bathroom--just steps away from the action in town. This is the second stay here. Are recommending to friends and we will be back.”

“The customer service is top notch. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. The hot tub was a nice touch after a long day on the road. The fitness room was small but adequate. We ordered food from the bar and it was very good. We also ate breakfast at the bar/cafe area which was also very good.”

“It was the place guest house I have ever stayed. It is difficult to say that it was a guest house, I think it was my second home. She acted like she was our grandma, giving her love, laugh, kindness and generosity. Breakfast cooked by her and her husband Nabil (who is the professional chief) are incredible and delicious. Her breakfasts are like lunch, after her breakfast you will need to eat only a dinner, since she provides so much food for breakfast. Whenever you approach to her, she responds immediately (towel, cleaning, food, help...). We became close friends during 2-week stay, even one family. She even bought a big toy four our son and cooked a free farewell dinner for us, so we had a family talk with her family. It is located in the heart of Red Hook, everything (grocery, cafes, shops and CVS) is so close to her house.I highly recommend to stay only there in Red Hook, if you want to feel the big heart of local people.Rooms: Rooms are fantastic, clean, big and warm.Nearby activities: Everything is around, 2-5 min.Safety: Cameras everywhere, very safe.Walkability: It is the heart of Red Hook.Food & drinks: Incredible and delicious, and a lot.”

“Had a delightful lunch in the Tavern. The menu selection is a good mix of their regular dishes plus some excellent seasonal specials. The beer menu is consistently good and I enjoyed a tasty IPA from Hudson Valley. Service was terrific and ambiance is genuinely wonderful. Felt like I’d spot George Washington at another table.”

“When booking a getaway to Kingston- I searched up hotel with indoor pool and this hotel came up. Free breakfast and a decent price so I booked it. We visited in April during an off peak time. At first driving up, it was disappointing. But my room was ready early and the staff was so courteous and friendly. The map is hard to read and it does take some getting used to navigating through the hotel. Hallways are dark. The room was basic and old-ish but it was clean. There was some wallpaper coming off the wall in the bathroom and the half door shower did splash some water (bad design). I wish there was a fan in the bathroom. The flush was loud and water sound lasted longer than normal. I did like the shampoo/conditioner/body wash and soap they provided. The towels were clean. Our room was close to the pool so we were happy as that was my children's favorite part of this trip. The pool was warm when the heater was on. The arcade is sad but hey at least they had one. Breakfast was good. I was surprised at how good it was. The potatoes were great, bacon and sausage were good too. Eggs were a bit too wet and unfortunately the coffee wasn't good. But I enjoyed the breakfast overall. My husband lost his wallet and I called the hotel, they were so awesome at looking for it and they found it! We were able to enjoy our train ride without the stress of trying to cancel credit cards etc. The employees are the prize of this place! And the hotel is in a central part of the town that it's easy to go around and get back. big parking lot and a good pizza place right near the hotel.”

“Horrible experience. They claimed that we didn't pay for the room but even after showing them the charge on my card from the hotel, they insisted we must pay again. When we declined they threatened to call the police. Goes without saying the charge will be disputed.”

“Clean and comfortable. The outside and public areas are very dated-looking. I guess I got one of the good rooms... everything was clean and new, bed was comfortable and everything worked fine. The shower and tub fixtures were old but clean and worked. The staff (both evening and morning) were ok but really seemed as if they didn't want to be there. Looks like a "family run" business.Location is convenient, next to highway. Recommend the very short drive to downtown Saugerties to eat.”
