“The owners are very friendly. It has everything a normal convenience store has but also some extra groceries and a special indian/asian food section. There is a large fridge room with beer and other refrigerated products. Even when there is a foot of fresh snow covering the streets so that you can't drive anywhere, these guys keep the store open! The owner even kept in stock a specific brand of beer just for me that nobody else was buying.”

“I love this Stewarts in general but the staff here is what really shines. Many times an interaction with them has made my day. A few weeks ago, I was there waiting to check out. A new employee, who was in training, was ringing up an order and had to think critically about how to approach a complex part of it. They paused to present the dilemma to the wonderful manager there, Joe. Here was the great part: Joe first went out of his way to praise the employee for noticing this tricky thing and then efficiently showed them the ins-and-outs of what to do next, so that they would know why and how to do this next time. The way they spoke to each other was so respectful and positive, I smiled all day afterwards. We see so many examples of unhealthy and unaccountable relating in the world--this was seriously a breath of fresh air that made me want to pay it forward in kindness for the rest of the day. On another note, I also love that this store has just egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches with no meat. 5+++ stars for this Stewarts!”

“The pharmacist and techs are doing an amazing job considering everything they are currently going through. Walgreens corporate needs to step up and help them to serve the community better. They are overworked, underpaid and having to deal with angry customers over reduced service hours. Meanwhile patients are not getting their sometimes life-saving medications. It is a public health risk.”

The breakfast burritos and pizza are fantastic, but are sadly not available some days.The cook loves his job and is a welcome face in the morning as he greets me enthusiastically everyday.If there were more to-go lunch options available in the morning I think I would often buy lunches when I do stop for breakfast.”

“Stewart's is one of those staples in the Capital District. Is there really one on every corner? No, but it certainly feels like it sometimes. This location in Downtown Troy is an older store that was recently remodeled to provide more fresh food options. I'm generally here a couple times a week and staff is usually attentive. It can get a bit busy in here at peak times, but everything is always in stock. And an ice cream counter at a gas station? You bet - it's some of the best around.”
