“LNB has that hometown banking feel that I've only seen in movies. I've been used to big banks up until this point and I had no idea that there's such thing as a human touch when it comes to banking. I truly feel valued as a customer, and I know that I can reach a human when I need one, and not just sit on a recorded phone line. LNB goes the extra mile and adds a personal touch to everything they do; hand written thank you notes and birthday cards, small tokens of appreciation that never cease to surprise me. They are part of the fabric of the community and it's so nice to keep things local, not to mention their rates on their mortgages have been the best I could find anywhere around by a decent margin, and their checking account options are great as well. Their Grant Avenue branch is absolutely beautiful, and I can't wait until it can actually be used to its full potential with the community rooms and such once things are safer. “I really like this bank after switching a year ago. The app is sometimes laggy but when it is working which 90% of the time it is, it is easy to use and has awesome extensions like the budgeting portion. Transferring between accounts is simple.When it comes to the people, I really don't mind going into the branch. Steve was phenomenal in opening my account and I love when he answers the phone because he's easy to talk to and understand and he is willing to help however he is able.Today I had my first no so good experience. I called and spoke with a lady who made me feel like I was bothering her by asking questions. Not the way a customer should be greeted whatsoever.Over all would definitely recommend this bank.”

“Community Bank NA has some interesting loan programs that are very different from other lenders. Their programs require 5% down, which is pretty standard, and their interest rates are a little high (4%), but they do offer no closing cost loans. Their loans with closing costs have pretty hefty up front costs, but without closing costs, it may be worth it. I initially rejected this bank because the monthly payment was higher than other offers I had, but I am now reconsidering because some of their numbers were extremely high (PMI is not $106 a month; $49 is typical for a credit score over 700). The other downside to this loan is only 3% of seller concessions, but this would not be a problem with no closing costs. A really good thing about this bank is they have excellent customer service!!! Michael MacDonald emailed me about 40 times on the day I inquired, and I haven't even applied yet! He is also very very knowledgeable & answered any questions I threw at him!!”
