“Really convenient location for me. Hours could be better during the workday but I make do. The worker is always very kind and easy to work with/get you what you need. If you have packages delivered to there they kind of just sit on the side which doesn't seem safe. I wouldn't know as I've never got anything sent to this location. It's located on the bottom of the office building”

“I had the first time passport application here. showed up little early than the appointment time. No lines. Shayne was the clerk who took care of my application, very professional and with lots of patience. The process was quick, around 15 minutes. There's 15 minutes street parking in front of the post office, and 1 hour parking in the area. I had no problem with finding parking.”
“I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I ought to know because I’ve been coming here for 37 years. The lady that was a bad clerk years ago is no longer there because her husband left her and went back to Korea by himself and then she retired. The staff now is very nice and accommodating. I’ve seen many employees even retire at this place through the years , that’s how long I’ve been coming here.I have nothing but good things to say.it’s also a safe place to get my eBay packages delivered. Too many porch pirates ( thieves) in the building I currently reside in .”
“It's the best place to apply for a passport. I arrived a day before my appointment to pick up a form, and the people there are so kind and polite. The next day, I arrived with my son to apply for his passport, and Jazmin is such a kind person. She helped me with everything and was so patient when taking my son's photo. If I could give her 100 stars, I would.”

“The workers at this post office are very nice people and they always try their best, however I run a local business and depend on my mail in a timely fashion per the app. When I lived in Seaford, the app was 99.9% accurate and my checks always came. At North Bellmore, they are always understaffed and worse on holiday weeks. There needs to be better staffing by management, so PO Box owners can get mail in a timely fashion. This is an organization that should be more on top of things. The public depends on this. When the economy is tight like now, timeliness matters more. I’d love to see mail put in the boxes quicker so we don’t have to wait days extra. If the app was 99.9% on time in Seaford that SHOULD translate to all towns locally.”

“The Island Park Post Office is a hidden gem! Every time I go, there’s either no line or just a short wait, which is such a relief compared to the chaos at the Long Beach location. The staff here are friendly, efficient, and go above and beyond to help.
Unlike Long Beach, where even the basics feel like pulling teeth, Island Park actually provided me with tape when I needed it—something so small but incredibly appreciated. It’s clear they value good customer service and keeping things running smoothly.
I would 100% rather take the short drive to Island Park than deal with the frustration of Long Beach. This is how a post office should operate! Highly recommend.”

“Great location and service. It's a plus since the wait times are not long at all in this location since it's not as populated. If you're in a hurry to mail something out and you're in the area, I'd suggest checking this location out. They only allow one person inside the actual office at a time because of COVID and since it's on the smaller side.”
“Came here a few minutes before closing to deliver a very important package that needed to be postmarked on that day. The fee was $2.85, but I only had about $1.80 on me. The nice lady still let me deliver the package. I'll be forever grateful for how they treated me that day.”

“My main location where I ship ALL my packages and letters. It sucks that they aren't open on the weekends. It is always closed from 12-1:15. Joyce is the sweetest lady ever! She is so helpful and gives assistance when needed. I have mainly been coming to this location because of her!”
“Eddie helped me with my children’s passports and he made the entire process so easy. He answered questions about the paperwork and was knowledgeable about a unique situation we were dealing with. He was meticulous but everything was done quickly and perfectly. My daughter is 2 1/2 and my son is 7 months, they were both having a bad day because a lot had gone wrong, but Eddie made it brighter. He was extremely kind and patient with my both of them. In my opinion, Eddie is worth more than 5 stars.”
“I honestly don't understand why the reviews are so negative from other people. Coming from Brooklyn, this post office is a blessing in comparison to what I've dealt with in the past. There is usually never any rush so I'm in and out and there is also a parking lot as well. I've only dealt with two staff members who seem to be there regularly and they are both extremely helpful and kind. I've been mailing out everything from here the past few months and don't plan to stop in the foreseeable future. Keep up the great work!”
