āIf you are strictly kosher or like me, a secular Jew that likes Jewish food, then definitely go there. I like certain types of pickles, olives, and hot peppers. Regular supermarkets don't carry. On certain items, prices are higher, but many have competitive pricing. Given that it is Hassidic, ultra orthodox, owned, and operated, you should respect modesty protocols.ā
āWonderful place to shop for kosher food. Large selection of groceries, produce, and fantastic homemade salads without preservatives. Fresh salmon too. Reasonable prices and discount plan for regular customers. I shop there regularly.ā
āI shop here daily, the prices are good, either the same price as most other grocery stores or less. The staff is kind and friendly, but the produce could be better in terms of fruits and vegetables as sometimes they are either moldy or mushy. Overall it is a good store to shop for goods and necessities.ā

āThe place is clean and well stocked. Prices are sometimes almost double what you pay elsewhere. The main attraction is Asian items. Prepared lunch items are of good quality. Convenient location and hours, ample parking. The staff is courteous and helpful. The fruits and vegetables are fresh and of good quality.ā
āPanchitoās Deli in the heart of Newburgh is a true gem. Their sandwiches (hot and cold) are packed with flavor and made with love. But the real game-changers are the birria tacos and tacos dorados, seriously some of the best youāll ever have. Theyāve got all the deli classics, the portions are generous, and the prices are hard to beat these days. Youāll try it once and definitely be back for more. YOU HAVE TO TRY!!ā

āHannaford supermarket took a bit getting used to after all the years of the store being Thruway supermarket. Change can be hard on people. However Hannaford has a good reward program, good prices, great staff, and the store is kept organized and clean. Self check out is convenient but the cashiers are almost always kind and hard working and even willing to help you out to the car! Most my shopping is done at Hannaford whether in person or via instacart. Produce isle is very appealing!ā
āJust excellent- everything is great at this store! The produce is super fresh, baked goods are delicious, cheese dept is extensive, meat and deli counters are great, and the pizza is fabulous.
Don't skip the garden center - the plants as well as the gardening supplies are top notch. Lastly, the customer service is wonderful.ā

ā4 stars cuz Altho they are great and good pricing, the checkout system is bad. Mostly only ever 1-2 lanes open and then they create one line at either register and it creates a mishap and then cashiers get nasty about it because thatās all they do all shift is say line doesnāt start thereā¦ we as customers donāt know that. Not cashiers fault they have to repeat all shift. Make a better system for check out or add self check outā

Moving their main warehouse to a new location has made parking much easier, resulting in decreased truck activity and increased customer space.ā

āThis store has a big selection of vegan groceries. They also have like every product from Bob's Red Mill. Lots of unique, hard to find, and healthy foods to try from here. Store is cleanly and well organized. The prices are a bit high when compared, but there are a lot of items on sale.ā
āIt's a Stewart's so in theory they should all be similar. Clean store and nice staff at the Newburgh Route 52 location. They meet all of my milk, egg, and ice cream needs along with other snack and essential items always available.ā

āHannaford pharmacies in Highland as well as in Modena are both great and really work to try and get your medicine filled. I have had Highland recently do it in a short amount of time and truly appreciated it a lot as I needed the medicine.ā
āGreat place for a quick stop for food and provisions on our way to a day of hiking. This is our second time hitting up this spot. They have plenty of trail mixes. Good prices at 3.99 a bag. We went to the deli to have fresh sandwhiches made. The meat portions were generous. Price was great. Around 8 bucks per sandwhich. Not sure what the other reviewers mean when they said this place was pricey. But then again, I compare every price against NYC . So the pricing is fair in my opinion.ā
āGood grief! Itās a gas station. Yes, you need a membership to use it. Yes, gas is less expensive there than elsewhere. It would be nice if the receipt always printed.ā

āAlways have good selection of stuff. There are no self check outs at this super market and they usually have a few registers open at a time so expect to wait on line a few minutes when checking out during peak times. Produce is usually pretty good but most of the big chain supermarkets within a 30 minute radius of here, donāt keep decent produce before it goes spoiled quickly.ā
āGreat corner store for snacks, smokes, and beer. Ibrahim, Hasan, and Brian are all good guys and serve as pseudo-therapists for one too many of their regular customers.ā
āI love this place the vegetable is very fresh. You can buy fish you can buy make meat. You can buy very cheap peanuts. You can buy sesame chocolate like Iāll be saying like. Candy so delicious and only one thing is no plastic bag. You have to bring them with you or the person from the register gave you box. Iām very recommended this store.ā
