Yesterday was my first time here with my girl who would shake like a leaf at the groomer I previously took her to for several years. I wanted to try somewhere new to see if she'd have the same shakes and anxiety, and as much as she did when we walked in, after I picked her up, it dissipated quickly. I attribute this to the very calm atmosphere. She was not put in a cage when I dropped her off, there weren't dogs waiting in cages for their turn, it was quiet and she was laying on the floor like a queen when I picked her up - looking so gorgeous I might add! She even got to pick a toy before leaving! I feel that this positive experience will keep her from being too anxious in the future and I can say with all assurance that THIS will be her new groomer!! 2 Columbus Ave, Valhalla11/06/2025 1:30pm - 5Pm today I spent the the afternoon at the Valhalla Animal Hospital. I have been coming here for over 25 years with different cats. No matter what the services are required, whether rescuing a cat or bringing in a group of kittens, or spaying or neutering, or just routine care, I have never had any issues at this location. A few doctors have come and gone, but the service has always been top notch here — today I had the opportunity to spend the day with Ron, the veterinarian assistant and Dr Steven Yang. He has been nicknamed the cat whisperer. Today I had to bring in my Bella Cat, who is 14 years old and she has some arthritis and some dietary issues and a few bad teeth. The Valhalla animal Hospital crew was attentive, caring, patient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them for everyday vaccinations, care that needs a little more investigative work and managing long-term care. The facility is very clean, and the parking is spacious and accessible for handicapped individuals.

4 Broadway, ValhallaWe’ve done a lot of training with our big pittie, and Sit Means Sit has been the best overall group we’ve worked with. The system works and it’s amazing to see the bad habits we enabled in our dog melt away with consistent work both at the facility and continuing those lessons at home. The best thing is that the lessons and system is accessible to anyone. Neil and the crew make it easy to continue the work at home and are always there to support with any questions or adjustments we need. Our big guy looks forward to his training at the facility and at home and we can finally travel again knowing our four legged child is safe and happy with his family at his second home. Sit Means Sit has been a game changer for our whole family.We are grateful you’re here to help!
