“Asad, the owner is first of all very respectful and kind to his customers. He was very honest and helpful explaining the importance of safety of my vehicle. I was driving in a vehicle that pep boys worked on a few days ago and never told they broke my lug nuts and allowed me to leave and trace home to in such danger. After explaining all parts and the condition of my car he fixed it on a Sunday evening knowing o had along travel ahead. He call in a specialist to fix the lower control arm and shocks. He gave a tremendous discount as being a first time customer and took a diagnostic road and the completion of the work. My car came sounding like I needed to sell it sell and hope for a buyer. I’m now leaving his shop hour later with my car running smoothly and a confident feeling of getting home safely. I would recommend ARC to any and all in valley stream LI area.”

“This place is incredible. In two hours, everything I needed was fixed. I went to Star Toyota and they were going to charge me $2,600 for random stuff. My good friend recommended me this place and looked through the inspection report. Muhammad (the owner) looked at and said what is this? Told me what I actually needed (brakes and filters) and said the rest is unnecessary. It cost me less than half of what Star wanted AND was quicker. If I wanted to do the same thing over there, I would’ve been stuck at the shop for over FOUR hours. I’m definitely going to come back here. Honest people doing honest work”

“Sam took great care of me yesterday after being mistreated at RSR Repair further west down Merrick. I pulled up; asked about A/C Service indicated on their signage. Sam beckoned and had me pull right up to a door where the A/C equipment sits. Within minutes he had pressure lines connected and informed me he’d start by checking the system for leaks. When that check passed his tests, he informed that he’s topping off the system. And it was over. My A/C blew cold right away. Thanks Farmer’s— you should get all of RSR’s business. After a year and days endured 4 separate failed attempts at RSR, I got it all done in 20 minutes….the first day…at Farmer’s!!!!”

“I had a foreign car for over 10 years that was my daily work horse to get me to and from work. I brought this car to this location for all its service needs and was pleasantly surprised. My work trip was 33 miles back and forth Mon thru Fri. The mechanic was fair, honest, and flexible with the drop off. His shop was walking distance to the Long Island Rail Road, which worked great when I needed an oil change, inspection, or breaks. It's hard to find a shop that you can trust without being extorted or feeling that way as a nonmechanic. One time I had a radiator issue and the shop told me the time needed and the cost associated. The mechanic insured he got me branded parts. This man stayed open slightly later for me when my train was delayed. Thank you to the owner/mechanic for being that honest shop steward that the neighborhood appreciates.”

The car had a “shake” when going past 55 MPH and with a shop full of other vehicles to work on, these guys squeezed us in prior to closing, diagnosed and fixed the issue in no time giving us the reassurance we needed to travel cross country.
