2316 Vestal Pkwy E, VestalWe relocated from New Jersey to Whitney Point, New York with our five senior cats. We were in need of qualified and competent veterinary care. After extensive searching of Google Maps Reviews, we found Vestal Veterinarian Hospital. For almost three years, Vestal Veterinarian Hospital and the staff have always provided caring, compassionate, and honest veterinary care of our senior cats. More importantly, they have never unduly stressed any of our beloved animals and they have always provided us with the hard facts and the available options of treatment. Most importantly, they have never pushed a medical issue or emergency to pad their pockets! To the contrary, they have always empowered us with the pertinent information, allowed us to thoroughly evaluate the scenario, and then make an informed decision- without pressure! In addition, they have euthanized one of our beloved senior male cats: 'Sweetie' with compassion, respect, and dignity. We still have two senior female cats: 'Cinnamon' and 'Esmeralda' whom they continue to provide care and treatment for and I would highly recommend their services. With that said, I would like to personally recognize the following individuals whom have assisted us over the years (Please forgive me if I missed anyone):

They treated her with kindness and gentleness, while offering me compassion and reassurance, making the experience feel personal, safe, and deeply human. From the first time she became seriously ill, they showed me what veterinary care could truly be — welcoming us without hesitation, guiding me through every frightening step, and making us both feel supported.
I don’t have much support in my life, but VCA has been that support. They’ve given my dog more time, comfort, and chances than I could have managed alone. I genuinely don’t know how I would have done this without them. If you want a clinic that leads with skill, heart, and humanity, VCA is the place. I recommend them with complete gratitude.

Dosa Grill Vestal
100 Rano Blvd, VestalThe food is so good. At many Indian restaurants it seems like the buffet is often not as good as ordering off the menu, but not here. And their sauces and spice blends are each uniquely delicious. The buffet is amazing. So is anything off the menu that I have tried, but I usually go for the buffet because I love trying everything. My only complaint is that it compels me to over eat to the point of pain; so now I get the take out buffet which is a controlled portion. They give you a fair sized container to fill, plus fresh nan wrapped in foil, a container of soup and small container of dessert for same prices as eating buffet there. It's easily two or three meals for me.
I've lived all over the country and spent 5 months in India twenty years ago. This is one of my favorite Indian restaurants ever. I highly recommend Dosa Grill and just wish they were located closer to me. I've only eaten there a few times as of yet, and it's been a while since I've had good Indian food so I was super happy when someone at a coffee shop recommended this place to me.
