UR Medicine Labs – Victor is a full-service, not-for-profit laboratory and part of the University of Rochester Medical Center. It is the largest medical lab in the region. Reviews note it is a great lab that is always clean, with everything done professionally. The staff are consistently described as very friendly, gentle, kind, positive, cheerful, accommodating, reassuring, and helpful. They have pleasant and gentle phlebotomists. There is sometimes a wait of 15-20 minutes, but other times patients get right in. The lab uses a self check-in system. It is closed from 11am to 12pm for lunch. Being open on a Saturday is extremely helpful for customers. One reviewer mentioned that a specific, highly skilled former phlebotomist is no longer there, which is a challenge for difficult cases. The staff are commended for their quick and caring action, such as providing juice and an ice pack to a patient feeling unwell. The lab is highly recommended.

    This lab is just as good as any other… But they really need to update their hours on their Google page! Got up early plan to be there at seven right when they opened as the website said. Only to find out that they do not open until 8 AM!

    Closed from 11am to 12pm for lunch. Very friendly. Sometimes there is a wait of 15-20 minutes but today I went right after lunch and got right in. Gentle, kind and positive, cheerful attitudes from everyone even though they have been extra busy due to nearby labs being closed.
