    “Shout out to the Kerhonkson location specifically — not corporate really lol, but the people who run that spot day to day. The place is always clean, organized, and welcoming, and you can feel the good energy the second you walk in. Everything’s put away, nothing feels rushed or sloppy, and the staff are genuinely accommodating in a way that doesn’t feel forced or scripted. Both morning and even crews are genuinely awesome. It’s one of those places where you can tell the folks working there actually care about the space and the community around it. That kind of consistency and warmth doesn’t happen by accident.     “There's a good selection of products at reasonable prices that are not too hard to find. I most especially liked that the cashier carried my bags to my car because I recently had a wrist injury. He was very polite, courteous and friendly and went out of his way to accommodate me. He really made my day! There was also a young woman on the aisle who knew where every product was and was able to direct me.”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard.     Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
