His attention to detail, structured approach to book organisation, his ability to listen and sense your interests and extrapolate related interests is highly impressive. We purchased the 1796 A Mathematical and Philosophical Dictionary by Charles Hutton. The oldest book they have is a manuscript from 1630 by Galileo Galilei! We are so looking forward to dropping in again soon and stumbling across another gem.”

“A great place to find unique works. I visited during the Fringe festival for a show hosted here called 'Play in a day' and it was fantastic. Writers and Books is a literary oasis and non-profit organization supporting local creators. In waiting for my show to begin I found an eclectic assortment of books by local authors in the indie book store within, &Ampersand Books. I did not have enough time to peruse the entire store, but I definitely need to carve out time to come back, and soon.”
