“What a breath of fresh air this place is. I have been looking for a go-to mechanic since moving to the area about 10 years ago. It should not take that long to find a capable, trustworthy mechanic, it really shouldn’t. But it’s been a combination of shady garages and more establishment chains that *always* find “emergency” needs for the vehicles that must be addressed immediately (to the tune of thousands of dollars, even with haggling).
I needed an oil change and state inspection, and that’s exactly what I got. No hassle, professional and personable, it’s a hidden gem as far as I’m concerned. I look forward to continue doing business with them.”

“Brought my car in for my bi yearly inspection. I dropped it off around 10:30 in the morning on a Friday. The technician called me within an hour. And told me, I needed a new tires as well. And gavevme three different options for tires with different price points .He took the time to explain the difference between each type of tire. I chose what I wanted and then about an hour and a half i was called to come pick up my car. Excellence service. The survicee technician was nothing but polite and helpful. “This shop was recently sold to a new group of excellent mechanics. Our Volkswagen bug was making strange sounds and not able to hold its battery charge. Jay called with an estimate, which was fair. Once I approved it he quickly got to work and called me as soon as the car was ready. The bill ended up being less than the estimate. He was straightforward, explained the problem with the car and how he fixed. He was a great communicator, fair and lovely to interact with. We're so delighted to have a trustworthy mechanic locall.”

“So, my son has a four-hour drive to college and was uncertain about how roadworthy his car was since he had been given a list of problems the last time he had it serviced. Charlie was amazing: he checked it out for him the same day (on the house) and told him that most of the problems on the list were "bull". It's so hard to get no-nonsense information about anything anymore, and I felt like I had stepped thirty years into the past when customer service really meant something. This is my new favorite spot for gas, inspections, etc.”

“This is one of the best auto shops I’ve been to in the Bronx. The staff is professional, honest, and consistent. As a woman, going to car shops can sometimes feel intimidating, you worry about being taken advantage of but I have never felt that way here. I’ve come to this shop for several different services, including fixing my door handle and lock, oil changes, and other repairs, and every experience has been positive. They take the time to listen, explain things clearly, and if I ask them to check something, they’re more than willing to drive the car around the block to make sure everything is right. I truly appreciate their integrity and customer care and would confidently recommend this place to anyone.”

“There are a ‘pair’ of stations on each side of the road. Lowest gas prices in area. During periods of busy traffic it can be difficult to cross over to the traffic lane on the opposite side of the road, so best to use the station on your direction of travel. Still, it’s good value if you need to wait a few minutes. With pricing at 40 to 50 cents per gallon less than many stations in the area you can save $5.00 per 10 gallons of fuel. Be patient!”

I own a 2021 Explorer ST which has been serviced at Yonkers Ford Tasca for five years. I have been loyal and generous even tho I know I’m paying way more than I should. Recently the poorly designed plastic cup holder collapsed and my AirPods fell below and I could not easily retrieve them. A DIY option is findable but given my years at the dealership I assumed they would take care of me. I received a quote just for labor and not replacing the poorly made parts for north of $2,000. I rejected this and took it to a local mechanic and it was recovered by Sinclair in Yonkers for $300. Yes 7x more. I voiced my complaint to the dealership and ownership in writing and no one responded. I’m sure they will now because I have to waste time posting. In short this price was gauging and I have terminated my relationship effective immediately without regret. I hope others will join me and bring their problems elsewhere like Mike at Sinclair. God Bless this nation and our troops.”

“On Friday 5/26/2023 I pulled into Sam's to gas up my rental car. I went to throw out an empty bottle and when I shut the door I had locked the keys with my wallet and phone in the car. The car was right in front of the pumps and I knew that this was not going to be good. Sam's is a full service station and Sam and all his employees showed me what service really means. No anger, no attitude and thank goodness no judgement, the guys helped me try and call Hertz and Sam tried to open the car door. The car was in front of the pumps for over an hour and a half but no one got upset. They kept trying to help me in anyway they could.I want to not just thank them all for their kindness, but also want to let anyone in the area of the Westchester County Airport in NY know that if you need gas or any service for your car, Sam and his guys showed me that this was the place to go.Thank you again.”
