“Words can't describe how amazing RMV is. I had my wedding there 8.23 and it was beyond anything I could've dreamed of. From day one of touring the venue with my husband, we were blown away. Not only is the space breathtaking and can speak for itself, but the staff was so warm & welcoming and offered help every step of the way. Amy left no question unanswered in our email exchanges and offered her help during the planning stages. Our tasting was a personal experience where the staff paid attention to every detail or what we preferred for our menu on the big day and they catered to our allergies/preferences by having options ready at the tasting that we could chose between. I was a DIY bride and I was able to drop off my center pieces and some other decor the day before the wedding since there wasn't a wedding booked that Thursday - this was a huge weight off my shoulders. Then the big day - absolutely speechless. The staff laid out my center pieces and decorations exactly how I wanted them. The timeline we were given by the venue was flawless, we were able to get the usual wedding events (speeches, mother/father dances, cutting cake, etc) in an order that didn't disrupt the flow of the dancing, but also didn't rush the events themselves. We were able to show up a few hours early for our wedding photos at the venue and the staff was ready to help with anything they could. We had a few staff members that would check in with my husband and I and made sure we were on time to be where we needed to be during the day. When it was time for us to go to the ceremony/get together to go into the reception, we were notified and everyone was already gathered before we were so there was no waiting around when we came down. After the cocktail hour we were pulled to a private balcony over looking the vineyard to enjoy alone time together while everyone was going into the reception space. They had set up tasting plates and some champagne & our specialty cocktail in case we weren't able to grab a bite while making our rounds at cocktail hour. The food was exceptional - farm to table, double protein plates, who could ask for more? The cake - made on premise, to die for, & beautiful! One person that made our wedding as extraordinary as possible was Gary. Gary was the absolute BEST. He had helped us through every single step of our time at RMV. He gave us the initial tour, he lead our tasting, he communicated through email, he made sure everything was perfect at our final walkthrough, and then he was by our side during the wedding and the reception. He checked in on my bridesmaids and my family to make sure everyone was doing okay or needed anything. He made sure things ran smoothly through the entire day. I honestly couldn't say enough great things about him and his staff. Our wedding is still talked about by our guests. I have previous worked in hospitality for many years, and I know there is a lot of behind the scenes work that we didn't see go into our big day and I applaud every single person that helped make our day so special. The flawless execution of their planning is really something to be celebrated. I would recommend every single person that is looking for a wedding venue to go to Red Maple Vineyard, there aren't enough words to say how thankful we found them. We will most definitely be going back to grab some wine & say hello.”

“What an amazing place. Selected it as a venue for a gathering of friends as an upstate/downstate geo midpoint. Food was unbelievably amazing (ordered off appetizer menu, late night menu, but the whole menu looked great), hosts Russ & Helga were warm welcoming and friendly, live music from Ethan Levy was perfect, every server and bartender were top notch. We will definitely be back. This is a rare Hudson Valley jewel that I am so glad we found.”

“Having our wedding at Revel 32 was the best decision we made! A beautiful, unique venue that really cares about creating your wedding vision. Holly, Judy, & Cherilyn were amazing to work with. All of my questions were always answered promptly & I really felt like I didn’t need to worry about details on the big day. They took care of everything! The food was delicious & we really liked how the menu was made personally for us by the chef. It’s not your typical wedding venue, it’s so much more than that. Thank you to everyone we worked with at Revel 32. You made this experience unforgettable!”

“I have played the course for fundraiser activities but have never stopped by just for a meal. I've been here two times in one month for lunch just recently and I highly recommend. Chicken pesto with tomato and mozzarella paninni is outstanding. Everthing is superfresh and very tasty. My friends had the shrimp with avocado wrap and said the same. It was quite busy and therefore the service was slow(they seemed a little shorthanded) but she was extremely pleasant. Of course the Atmosphere is uncomparably beautiful.”

“Soon to be the new location of Soho House in the Hudson Valley. If it's anything like the other resort hotel locations the company has worldwide, we're in for a treat. Grasmere is a spectacular property, and the site couldn't be more ideal. Near the train station and an hour and a half drive to New York City. How awesome if Soho House created a ferry service to New York City.”

“Everything about this place is magical! My sister got married here last weekend and it was perfect. I can’t begin to describe how amazing Billiam and his team are. We had the most incredible time! I’d recommend this venue to everyone!”

“There is league on the smaller tables most nights sunday-Thursday. But there's a several large table as well. They charge by time used, check in with the bartender to see what's open and get the balls. Love the quesadillas.”

“We just love, love, love Shadows. Besides being a great place for Sunday with outstanding food, their service is second to none. It’s so good that we chose them for our intimate wedding.”

“We went for the Sunday brunch buffet. It is a decent value. Food is mostly good. Beverages are not included so that a little drawback. The service is great as food replenished quickly and waiters very friendly! Great views of the Hudson as well.”

“Great restaurant and service. Took my mother there for her birthday. We've been there a few times, my only constructive feedback would be about the meat temperature... consistently one notch more cooked than desired. So, medium rare comes out medium or medium well for example. I said something once, and they redid the steak and it came out the same. It was still delicious, but wanted to pass that feedback along. I other words, order beef rare.”

“The customer service is top notch. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. The hot tub was a nice touch after a long day on the road. The fitness room was small but adequate. We ordered food from the bar and it was very good. We also ate breakfast at the bar/cafe area which was also very good.”

“My husband and I were traveling to the area and saw Hutton Brickyards had a NYE celebration so we booked it. At the time, it looked as though the hotel was completely booked so we had to make other accommodations. Unfortunately when we arrived to our other accommodations it was in a very unsafe area and we reached out to Hutton Brickyards to see if we were able to cancel our reservation for dinner as we planned to head home. They were so wonderful and found us a room to stay, which was beautiful, and we enjoyed a fantastic 5 course meal with lovely jazz music. We are so appreciative of the staff helping us out so we could enjoy our evening.”

“As we check in at front desk, the receptionist was so nice. We ask for room facing the Hudson River and was able to get one. We also got cookies. The hotel is in process of reno and we got one that was updated. Hotel so convenient near by restaurants.”

“Had a delightful lunch in the Tavern. The menu selection is a good mix of their regular dishes plus some excellent seasonal specials. The beer menu is consistently good and I enjoyed a tasty IPA from Hudson Valley. Service was terrific and ambiance is genuinely wonderful. Felt like I’d spot George Washington at another table.”
