“I opened an account here almost a year ago, after being constantly disappointed by my then banking institution.I wholeheartedly recommend this Credit Union. The staff here are always interested in assisting their customers at any given moment. They have remembered who I am every time I go to this branch. They are friendly, professional and they never make you feel like you are intruding. And you never feel like you are an imposition asking questions they probably heard a million times. The staff always answers with a smile and always asks, before you leave, if there is anything else they can help you with. To mention the staff I have regularly dealt with are Brian, Emily,Chad and Elanda. They are the epitome of what customer service is and should be like everywhere. With recent time sensitive issues, Elanda and Chad were instrumental in getting my issue taken care of with the utmost respect to me and to my situation. “A thief stole my check out of a mail can in front of the post office. He "washed" my check and made it payable to himself. Luckily, Trustco sensed something and called me to see if I did write it to him. I had to close my account and open a new one. They were extremely helpful professional and courteous with this awful situation and big shout out to Alex & William for everything!”
“At least the last time I was there super friendly and accommodating!! I ask if they could wear disposable gloves during the transaction because they handle money all day. The manager is amazing and always accommodating. Def recommend over the Latham branch if you can avoid going there I would go to Troy!!”

I made an appointment with Matthew to buy out my car lease after Wally's Volkswagen tried to over charge me $2,000.00. Matthew got me a loan for the exact amount I owed, at a very fair interest rate, and had me back to my regular life activities in under an hour. “This local branch of BVCU is exactly how I always imagined being a credit union member should be. Have never had nearly as great an experience with any previous banks or their teams until switching to this location and Credit Union. Not only are their account offerings cost effective and beneficial, it was beyond easy to prepare to setup our personal accounts and then even a business account for our LLC which has been nightmare in past banking experiences. The team here is kind and the location is helpful and clean and organized. Special shout out to our favorite banker there, Mike C. He’s a rockstar at what he does and also just a good human who’s been so helpful to us as our new banker but also as welcoming team since we are new to area from Texas. 12 out of 10 stars for Mike and the BV team here at this branch location!”

“I had to go to Broadview credit union today, which has been my credit union for many years. I went to open a new checking account and to make a couple more adjustments on other accounts I have there. Erin was the young lady who helped me and not only was she very helpful and knowledgeable, but extremely pleasant. I see that the credit union doesn’t get the best and highest ratings, but I’ve never had an issue with them at all. Erin made this process very simple and very pleasant.”

“We switched to NBT to get rid of the overarching and overreaching Bank of America and we had advice to do business with a hometown bank .We also have a second home up north. The bank is very prevalent in that area. The customer service is amazing and we are very happy. There's a glitch with our statements in that we like paper statements and even after several f-t-f with branch managers, they cannot get all our accounts on one statement mailing for some reason. Overall a 5 star bank and we love the branch in Gloversville for all their friendly service. The branch in Guilderland had one teller that was not so 4 or 5 star, but hopeful he's fixed that or is gone.”

Every time I walk in, I’m greeted with professionalism, a warm demeanor, and a sense of genuine care - from Kenzie. She is not only efficient and knowledgeable, but also incredibly patient and approachable. Whether I’m making a simple deposit, asking about account options, or dealing with a more complicated transaction, she handles everything with calm confidence and obvious experience in her role.
What really stands out is how she treats each customer with respect and attentiveness. She doesn’t rush people through their transactions—she takes the time to explain things clearly, answer questions thoroughly, and make sure everything is completed accurately. I’ve seen her work with elderly customers, first-time account holders, and busy professionals like myself, and in every case, she brings the same steady, reassuring presence and attention to detail.
It’s clear she sets a high standard for the rest of the team.
