“the store is very nice they have a lot of food options and they have a lot of self-care products they could have a little bit more drink options especially in the soda isle but besides that it's a really good dollar general they also have birthday party supplies and some stuff for taking care of houses”

“I had a pleasant experience at the Dollar general the new people that have just started a very friendly the ones that have been there years or not so friendly they usually don't carry the pipes I usually get they usually out and it always takes these people too long to put stuff on the shelf they get a truck in and it sits on the floor 3 to 2 days”

Under new management this place is really beginning grow on me. The store is cleaner in general and shelves are stocked better, the meat dept is definitely better, friendly staff that is helpful. Customer service has improved. You can tell someone cares about this little store again.
I would suggest driving the extra 20 min to Cortland before buying anything "fresh" from this store. I definitely don't recommend the deli, there's a reason why's it's been closed for so long. And the staff is just miserable. It's pretty obvious that management does not care about their customers or this store. Small Town friendly and convenient skipped this place.”

“I'm a local to the area. So, believe me I know what's good in this town. And, well, this place has the best (hot/cold) subs in all of Marathon. Their pizza isn't half bad, either. They're constantly taking suggestions and trying new things, not to any extremes though. And, don't mind the frizzy haired old lady at the front counter in the mornings she's always a little sharp with her words. (Public restroom isn't the best but it won't give you a disease.) Grocery - A- Deli / pizza counter - A+ Beer selection - A Customer service - B+”

“Good deli, some stuff is great. Some needs work. Always quick in and out. Prices are a bit high, but it's locally owned and easy.
Meat needs to be frozen promptly and is good. Just doesn't last long refrigerated.”
