“The ONLY USPS post office that answered their direct telephone line. I’ve called all the post offices in North Bergen & West New York NJ & got no answer.”

“I would like to take the time to commend two woman Inez and Jasmin for my experience today. Both of these women went above and beyond to help me through the passport application process. I pressed the green face on the screen at the counter but that does not do them justice. Definitely worth the extra 10 minute drive to this location versus my local Mott Ave post office(they are horrible). Thank you again ladies!”

“I applied for a passport for my newborn son in this place. There are two people working here. I don't know how to fill in the form. There is a middle-aged woman who helped me fill in the form. She is the best person I have ever come to the United States. Their service attitude is very good. Thank you very much! I don't know her name. It's a pity!”

“We had a great experience applying for a passport here. They were efficient and accommodating and within 15 min. we were done! Shout out to Jessica who was so friendly and helpful.
We actually received the passport only 2 weeks later without even expediting it!”

“Disagree with the poor reviews. The women here are friendly, smiling and nice. The fact that tape isn't free or shipping rates are high, are by no means a reflection of these hard workers. I have a lot of time and respect for them. One time the clerk even went out of her way bc I mailed the wrong item and she had to fetch it for me after the fact. The facility is indeed old and shabby, but the workers are cheerful if you understand them.”

“The most beautiful and clean post office I have ever stepped foot inside. Normally when I go to the post office, the workers are rude and nasty. However, my experience at this particular Post office was pleasant. I was able to apply for a passport within 15-20 mins.”

“I had a positive experience today at the Sunnyside. It was quite busy, but the staff handled everything efficiently and kept the line moving. The person at the counter helped me quickly with my mailing (including choosing the right envelope and service), which I really appreciated.

What stood out was how they also took the time to answer quick questions from others not in line while assisting customers — not easy in a crowded setting. Overall, a smooth and positive experience despite the volume of people. Thanks to the team for keeping things moving and being helpful.

Also, places like post offices don’t always get the recognition they deserve. It takes effort from both the staff and the public to keep things running smoothly. If you’ve had a good experience, it’s worth taking a moment to acknowledge it.”

“I had great walk-in experience to apply for my daughter's passport. We came prepared and all process took about 5 minutes. Thanks to a man who assisted us with such a great service. Will definitely come here again, although it is not nearest office to my house.”

“The guy working at the counter was very friendly and efficient Helping me ship my package. I was in and out in 5 minutes. By far are the best USPS experience i’ve had in the city - well worth taking the train over from bushwick!”

“Staff us friendly. Helpful and responsive. I love it unlike Williamsburg or Greenpoint. They are especially rude, annoyed at you, much attitude. I can't deal with it so I go to Maspeth where they greet you at the door with kindness and direction.”

“I have to say, of all the visits to USPS I can recall in recent memory, my quick little visit this afternoon was literally the best I have ever experienced. Despite my little brain fart at the self serve kiosk, Irene greeted me with a warm smile and helped me send out my letter efficiently and with so much kindness and patience. Literally so grateful to her, and I felt compelled to tell her that the reviews you see of this place at first glance are WILDLY inaccurate. And it's not just her - I did notice her colleague behind the counter, whose name I wish I caught, give the same level of humanity to everyone he served. I didn't walk out of there just getting something done and off my plate, I walked out of there having so much more faith in humanity. If I ever need to ship something out via USPS, best believe I'll be coming here from now on.”

“The wait time is long which is why I couldn’t do five starts, but service from Tracy is definitely 5 stars! Even though she was under a lot of pressure with the line she helped me think about using a different packaging that brought down my shipping cost quite a bit. So much appreciated that moment.”

“Visited this USPS store and the manager was kind enough to let me ship my stuff even though the store was closing. The employees are all very nice and willing to help. Overall, always have a great experience coming to this post office!”

“I know this post office can sometimes be overcrowded… but it has the nicest people. I went to several post offices to deal with a passport issue and others told me they couldn’t do what I was asking or were downright rude. At this post office they read the text thoroughly about what I needed and helped me! I was so relieved. I really wish post offices were not so underfunded and were able to upkeep their physical properties better.”

“It was not that crowded and the teller was very helpful although she didn't scan my return for aroma360. I hope they received it. Apart from that she made the rest of time real friendly. I am going back again for more business.”

“I think this Post Office in Queens offers the best service. The staff is courteous and go above and beyond to make sure your paper work is in order. I had to go there a few times and I was impressed with their service.. I have sent a few people there and they were also impressed with the services. Great job ladies ???”

“Quick, efficient, and pleasant experience. The woman helping me (I believe her name is Barbara) was an angel on Earth and helped me to figure out my issue. Single-handedly turned my crappy day into a fantastic one.”

“This is my favorite USPS location to drop off my packages. I usually go there once a week with prepaid box ready to go and they’re very friendly and service is quick. Probably less than 30 seconds with no line. There’s rarely a line unless the customer is unsure what they want to do.”

“I had a pretty good experience at this post office. The attendant was nice, and I was able to get in and get out fairly quickly, which doesn't always happen at the post office.”

“NYC post offices can really be hit or miss and this one is the best one I've experienced so far. Advice I would give is don't show up 15 minutes before closing time or expect a line and testy customers and staff. If you go early in the day you can walk right up to a window. They are efficient and get the job done and are friendly if you have your business together and don't waste their and other people's time if you don't.”

“After having spent 25 minutes on a seemingly endless Post Office line on Flatlands Avenue in Brooklyn last week, this branch was a joyous discovery. Easy parking. One person in front of me, waiting for either of two tellers. Prompt, professional, courteous service. How rare.”

“My friends, staff and I have been to this post office a few times and had a wonderful time this is because every time that all of us went there, there was so no and that it was fast with no one in the line. Also, the post office is located inside this borough hall.”

“I had a great experience here. I had to mail my license plates back to the DMV after moving and it required certified mail with a return receipt - a process I was unfamiliar with. I did my best to follow the instructions I found online, but at some point I just went up to the window to make sure I didn't do anything wrong, and the helpful person there told me exactly what to do and said I could come back and not have to wait in line once I followed the steps she gave me. Very friendly and patient people work here! Show them the same!”
