“I have been using this place for several years I believe since they open for business. I have never had an issue and the young man behind the desk has always been professional.”

“They close at 1pm on Saturday. NOT 4pm. I promised the lady I would write this, she also wanted me to tell you that in the history of postal service this location has never closed at 4pm and will never. So go before 1pm because she locks the door because she has places to be and can’t be waiting around for us”

“Was there this Friday for a passport appointment, arrived more then 15 minutes late due to heavy traffic in the area , and even though I excpected to be turned away [my appointment was the last one for that day] not only did they do so, they started to process my application right as I stepped down to the window, and as I told them that I'm sorry for being late, they just told me that nothing happened and they served me with a smile! Wonderful experience.”

“I think over the last few years their service has gotten a lot better—seems they have hired more friendly associates that don’t look like they hate life. I walked in wanting to send a package that was already prepaid, and the worker happily took it and gave me my receipt, and I was out of there within 30 seconds. I was serviced by a young asian woman at the second window, and she did not hassle me about the package weight or anything that would result in me having to pay an extra fine of some sort. Personally I had a very pleasant experience, but just so people are aware, this was at 12pm on a Tuesday and there were only two people in front of me, so it was a slow day. Maybe my experience would’ve been bad if the building was packed, so my 5 star review is all subject to my own time on a specific day!”

“I received an, exceptional service, today from Crystal, at this branch kings highway East 19tj Street, In Brooklyn. Her professional approach, patience, accurate information and ability to address my concerns - were all, beyond her duty and heartwarming. It is, simply, amazing to be served in such a professional manner. And while I 'joked' with Crystal, that, if there were many like her in the USPS, then, other couriers would go out of business. It was not a joke! It was sincere and a well deserved statement. What a gem! I pray that many like Crystal will be recruited by the USPS. If I could give 10 stars, on this review I would. Thank you, Crystal!”

“I don’t think this location deserves all the 1-star ratings - yes, it’s a small post office so there is sometimes a bit of a wait, but when you get to the counter the service is typically quite efficient in my experience”

“I have no idea why this location has 1.7 in rating. This is my first time to drop-off package... arrived just 3-4 minutes before closing. Front door was already closed, but one of the staff standing next to door, opened it and as package was ready and labeled for drop-off, she kindly accepted, saving my and other USPS staff time. Thanks once again.”

“Ms. Johnson was so helpful getting my package sent to Japan!! She checked all of the prices for competing postal services and found me the best deal! I originally went to UPS and they said it would be ~$380 to send my package. Ms. Johnson did her research and through DHL it was ~$160! So grateful for her help, will be returning.”

“I had a very good experience here! The staff member who helped me (Victor) was really helpful and took the time to explain my international post options and how to fill out all the forms etc. It was very quiet when I went but given the store is so small, it can get busy very quickly so come early!”

“Showed up earlier this morning with a minor problem and they helped me a lot with figuring things out. I was able to get things done on time! I appreciated all the workers that came through for me. Out of all the post offices I've been to, this one is the best and I'll always come to this location if needed.”

“Extremely patient, courteous, and helpful service. I've been here a couple of times in the past few months: once for a passport renewal, and once for some shipments. Each time, the staff are great; they even help me save money on shipping options! I will only come here for future shipping needs.”

“I prefer to use this post office instead of Rugby. Yes, it's understaffed and sometimes slow like all post offices in 11203, but overall my experiences here have been good.”

“Came in around noon on a Tuesday and there was no line at all. Both employees working at the window were efficient and friendly as they helped me with a 1-Day delivery envelope. I had a very positive experience, and wanted to say so since there are so many negative reviews here.”

“Came here to pick up a package and the ladies were lovely, friendly, and personable. I observed them interacting with other customers and they treated everyone with kindness and clear communication. They were able to quickly find my package. I was in and out within 5 minutes.”

“went here to mail to my boyfriend, it was actually my first time mailing without a parent because im 15. the employees looked like they hated it there, but they were still very helpful and even taught me how to tape my box.i got there at around 4:25, but the line was so long that when it was my turn i was afraid they would make me wait until tomorrow because 5:00 hit but luckily unlike the last one i went to months ago they actually had the common sense to serve the people who were already in before 5 before closing down because they were all most likely waiting for half an hour, so that was a relief.then, the L train right there is convenient, i live in canarsie so it was a quick ride back.”

“This is probably the smallest post office in Brooklyn, if one of the customers happens to have BO, the whole place will stink of onions mixed with cumin and curry, this is NOT the USPS fault.”

“If one has any problems or issues with have their packages delivered to even having your shipped packages delivered to your customers and your packages happen to go through the Blythebourne Post Office, be sure to ask for Supervisor Keyma Edmonds. I had an issue where I sent four packages to a customer of mine, which was literally 0.5 miles from where the post office is, and the customer refused to acknowledge that the post office did not drop off the four packages due to there being "no secure location available". This was a huge plus on the post office's take as they look out for your packages and do not want them to either get vandalized or stolen. The customer had the option of either picking the four packages up at the post office, which keep in mind was 0.5 miles away, or rearranging a delivery to be made again. When I explained him both options, he refused to cooperate and said that I was "wasting his time" and he had a secure location available. Nevertheless, I was able to get a hold of Supervisor Edmonds in which she assisted me with patience and such a professionalism that is truly hard to come by nowadays. She was able to understand that the receiver was unwilling to cooperate and that I just wanted the packages to be delivered. Did everything she asked for and she was able to have the four packages delivered. I sure am truly appreciative of her help and cooperation and patience with me in getting the issue resolved. One does not know how grateful I am for her to be there and the post office should sure be grateful for having a supervisor like her ensuring that all packages get to their destination in a safe and timely manner. Wishing her all the best and looking forward to working with her again!”

“This very nice employee Mrs Arnold LEADSSA, very sweet and caring. My appointment was at 10:30 but when I arrived at 10 she took me in and I got my stuff done easily and left by 10:30! I really appreciate you! She’s very friendly too!”

“The postal office is tidy, mostly quiet, and the staff are efficient. My one complaint is related to the general services, they no longer help you package your products you have to come with everything boxed, taped, etc. They charge you to buy a table for $3.99 so come with your labels taped. I wish they will consider charging a service fee or product fee for taping so that customers do not have to purchase an overpriced tape for a single item delivery.”

“It was ok, I don't the rep was too thrilled that it was a little busy and she was by herself. I think that it should be at least 2 people up front and at all times for this area.”

“After unsuccessful attempts to submit my child's passport for renewal at downtown's postal service, this postal service and the workers did a great job at doing everything in less than 10 minutes. No unnecessary fuss, workers are diligent and fast. Great service. Definitely doing all my further passport paperworks and submissions there!”

“I know this place gets some bad reviews, but I have continued to get amazing service here since I moved from Dyker. Kevin, one of the supervisors here is awesome, courteous, and professional. I've had issues in the past with deliveries and he was always able to get stuff fixed right away. However the best person who works at this location, hands down is Miss LuLu. She deserves a raise, vacation days and all the praise. She's always willing to help, goes above and beyond out of her way and has an infectious smile and positive personality. Ever since moving here she had been great since day one to me and my family. She's our main mail person and I would lose my mind if she ever left.”
