“In my experience, Eric is a top shelf human, keeps the cleanest shop in the neighborhood, and can be trusted to take care of an insurance claim! Precision Transmissions has been my go-to provider for oil changes, inspections or any mechanical issue for my Audi Q5. Once during an inspection they found a small crack in my front axle, which could have been very dangerous, called me and replaced the part immediately.
Recently I was the victim of a hit and run auto collision, and took my vehicle to Eric for assistance. Eric knows New York regulations well, so when my insurance company’s inspectors tried to skirt the regulations, Eric helped me understand what they were doing, and fought for me to ensure that my car was properly brought back to pristine condition. He did this with a calm and firm professionalism that only comes from years of experience and exceptional knowledge of his craft. Eric takes pride in his work and is a true gentleman. If he shows you his black, convertible corvette, just keep your fingers off the paint job ;-). Make that appointment, you will be happy you did!”
“I can't even do justice with a review,, this glass shop is 10/10. Service, efficiency and quality it's all there. I am so blessed I found this shop to change my windshield due to a pretty bad crack. Mike is a trustworthy owner who earned my respect with the job that's was done. New moldings, recalibration, high quality windshield for an unbeatable price in alil over an hour. I am so happy. Will come here for all glass needs and recommending here any chance I get. I pray for the continued success of this business, they deserve it. “Came here yesterday- mounting, balancing and alignments for 4 new tires. In and out, no fuss no bull. To some it might sound weird as a review, but this was THE easiest time I ever had at a mechanic. There's about 25-30 mechanics in the same neighborhood and they ALWAYS suggest I get something else fixed (very annoying). Tony's was REALLY hospitable and quick. Will DEFINITELY come back.”

Sun Auto Glass gave me the best price out of all of them went out of their way to get the product shipped from the manufacturer directly to them ASAP, and within a very short amount of time did a perfect job of installation. “Just took my 2001 Honda Accord in today to replace the front windshield so I can pass NYS inspection. I worked with Bill; the courtesy and professionalism that he shows his clients is truly outstanding. Bill was able to schedule my appointment within a very reasonable time frame at 9am and had me out the door in just one hour with a brand new windshield. I got several prices from other companies like Safelite and was quoted over $300 for a new windshield on this old beater Honda of mine. BIll gave me a very fair and reasonable price for the job that was within my expectation. It's so great to have a local repair shop close to home that is honest and fair, something that is seemingly difficult to find now days in any line of work or service. I plan on taking my 350z in for some very minor interior electrical stuff I need done soon and certainly recommend Mobile Auto Glass for any glass, tint, or electronics!!!”

“Quality work, reasonable prices, terrible communication. Make sure you're clear with them before picking up your car that it is 100% ready to go. First time I showed up, AFTER they called to let me know that my car was ready, I was told that in fact they'd forgotten a service and, "Didn't think I'd get here that quickly." :/ Had to leave my car there and received no offer to compensate me for their mistake, nor did I get a response from Mike when I emailed him to let him know. I then had to follow-up to confirm my car was ready the next business day, which they confirmed, and when I arrived I had to wait an additional 20 mins for them to power wash my car from the bird crap and residue it collected in their lot that weekend. Didn't dry my car so got to drive it back soaking wet. Once again, no apology for the wait or miscommunication.”

“Frank of Astoria Auto Repair is truly the best - he went to small claims court with me a decade ago and helped me win against a used car dealership. I bought a new car in 2015 so we didn't see each other for a long time. This year, my car has been having troubles- I've taken it to the service center twice and each time they tell me nothing is wrong with it. I replaced the battery myself. Finally, this week, it's straight up would not start, so I called Frank. He told me to bring it in same day, diagnosed the problem same day, and even called the place I had gotten the battery to notify them, complain on my behalf, and ensure I'd be able to get a full refund for the purchase!Frank really cares, is an old school expert, and I hope you will give him your business, should you have need!”
