“I want give thanks to Decks and Docks Long island Branch. I have built a relationship with decks and docks and on going. There team from management to the drivers, to the yard guys,to salesmen, to the front desk, and even new hires seem to know whats going on. On many occasions they have made accommodations to fit my needs they have made next day or even last minute same day deliverys. They stand behind their work, communicate well, and make sure the job is done right. I have even witnessed management make sure orders are correct before it hits the road. It's clear they care about their customers and the quality of products they provide. They are a well oiled machine and continue to make improvements. These are just some of the reasons why I continue to do business with decks and docks .”
“There’s something to be said about having knowledgeable and helpful workers that are willing to answer every question you have. The staff is top notch here. I needed a pipe for under my sink but my old pipe had been sawed down; because I didn’t know how to saw it down myself, one of the clerks offered to saw it in the back. Definitely can’t get this level of service with the big box stores!”

But my initial purchase was with a Hispanic man who said, Hey Bud, what's your phone number?Sorry , I don't respond to that language”
“I had to return an opened box item without the box, but with the receipt and the defective product. I was concerned because I had tossed the box and put it out in the recycling. The young manager was kind and professional. He helped me pick out the replacement item and quickly had me on my way. Very impressive. Thank you. journal# C43880 I forgot his name..”

“Druek's Hardware is a GREAT STORE. I often travel from Shirley to get what I need at Druek's. keep in mind, I live south of Montauk Hwy and Home Depot is clearly a less drive. But, at Druek's I do not encounter any riff-raft, lurking outside the store and employees. They have everything I ever needed and the store is ALWAYS well stocked. Anytime I did need assistance, an employee was extremely helpful, well dressed and with their natural color hair. Lastly, during Covid, customers had a choice to wear a mask or not. Which represents U.S.A.”

He was friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful took the time to make sure I found exactly what I needed and explained things clearly without rushing me. It’s always nice to walk into a store and feel like someone actually cares about helping. Charlie’s customer service really stood out and made the visit easy and pleasant. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“Was here today at the Shirley store to pick up 6 various items that fit in my shopping cart.As I got on a short line at self checkout, I had Mary ask me if she could help with scanning so I said sure.By the time she was done I had my card ready to swipe and was on my way in no time.I noticed she was doing that with other customers which showed she cared enough about helping move the line and not just watching like you see in other stores.Nice experience at the self checkout!”
“Was looking to purchase a certain small parts organizer bin which happened to be up in the overhead by the organizers. Walked the entire store and couldnt find a floor employee until i got over to garden. A nice older gentleman was able to help and led me to Jillian. She was quick to help and get me what i needed. The 5 stars are not for the store but solely on her performance of helping me out.”

“Great Lowe's location. Love this spot for the variety of home decor items and garden essentials. Since it seems less frequented than a few other locations nearby, a lot of hot ticket items are usually in stock. We purchased countless items here such as stone for our diy retaining wall, patio furniture (end of summer clearance is always phenomenal), pillows and so much more. I actually look forward to browsing here with the hubby.”
“I'm a new customer and it was a pleasure shopping here. Had to go 3 days in a row to get what I need for my Mercury outboard to run, and in those 3 days I was helped by 3 different employees. They were all knowledgeable and patient with me and got me in and out quickly.”
“I’ve been to this Home Depot on many occasions. Most of the time they are well-stocked, have reasonable prices, and all the equipment that I need. Most of the staff are extremely kind welcoming and helpful. There have been occasions when I’ve encountered staff that don’t know what they are doing, and are unable to help, but the majority of the time the staff are helpful. The one complaint I have,, which is a consistent problem, are their shopping carts. They ate In the worst possible condition. They are extremely difficult to push and manipulate. With muscle strength limited due to illness, this makes my trip to Home Depot extremely difficult. Even those who are healthy would find these carts a challenge. I don’t think it would take too much to replace these cards with new ones. hopefully Home Depot will see this review and take some action! It Is my favorite store after all.
Update on 4/2/26 I recently visited Home depot and discovered they have new shopping carts!! I am so thankful! Now I can shop without pain and difficulty. Great job Home Depot!”
“Saturday we had a late night kitchen drain emergency! Andrew was so kind to help me with 15 minutes to closing. He helped me find the right parts and let the front know too so I would be able to check out.

“Friendly, helpful staff. An item not at the Lowe's I was visiting was at another Lowe's 20 minutes away, the friendly staff told me. Went to the other Lowe's and completed my purchasing. Their prices were less than their competition for the items I needed today. However, they are a slightly longer drive from me. Lowe's wins today :)”
