I have great confidence in him, and would always entrust him to care for my pets' well-being. Doctor K also always calls promptly, when he promises a call about a test result, and he also takes the time to email answers and advice to my concerns. He is extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful in offering solutions. Most of all, he provides a plan and next steps for all of my furbabies, which is very helpful in a multi-pet home in keeping everyone on track. I have been with Dr. K for many years, dating back to when he did acupuncture on my dog. I would highly recommend Yorktown Animal Hospital and their sister location Peekskill Animal.

1804 Front St, Yorktown HeightsThe food here is fantastic. It’s your standard deli… but the staff clearly loves what they do. Sandwiches have good amounts of meat/cheese… and the bread is delicious. Breakfast sandwiches are the best in Northern Westchester. The eating area is really more of a take-out waiting room; a little dated on the decor. But quality/value for money… this place is fantastic.

1807 Commerce St, Yorktown HeightsI wanted to give this a 5 star rating, but no onsite parking and a little bit of crystallized ice cream (coconut mounts, yes mounts) took a little away from the charm of this place. I bit small in the service area/entry (though there is an ice cream service window that is probably well utilized at busy times) but there were a several places to sit and relax. There was even a Connect 4 and chess set out to play. Down a narrow walkway to the back was an outdoor seating area with multiple picnic tables. And of course, seating in front along the road/walkway. Service was prompt and courteous.

3224 Crompond Rd, Yorktown HeightsBeing the wife of a former and famous Bronx pizzeria owner and pizzaman for 20 yrs and now living in Westchester we are relying on what’s around us. We’ve had pizza from many places and a few are pretty good BUT when I stepped into Slice in Yorktown the other day I had the best surprise and treat…being of Middle Eastern descent, I was so excited to see that they started serving a pizzeria version of Spanakopita which is a Greek spinach and feta pie baked in phyllo dough. The homemade one that I make is great but when you bake it in a 5-600* oven so it gets really browned and crispy-omg, I was happily transformed! It was Delicious! Light,flaky but so flavorful and filling. Please give it a try if you like that kind of food-it will not disappoint you! Bravo Slice!

1789 Front Street, Yorktown HeightsI can't recommend Rainbow Bridge Pet Crematorium highly enough. I called on the morning my dog passed away, and they had me there within an hour.
From the moment I arrived, the owner Eric was compassionate, empathetic and professional. He treated both my dog and myself with such kindness and sincerity during one of the hardest days.
Eric truly couldn't have made such a heartbreaking experience any easier. I'm incredibly grateful for the care and support he provided and would recommend this place highly.
