Baldwin Performance Carburetor is a highly regarded business that specializes in restoring and tuning carburetors for classic and performance vehicles. With over 20 years of experience, the team at Baldwin is known for their exceptional workmanship and attention to detail. Customers consistently praise the quality of Baldwin's work, with one reviewer stating that the carburetors they restored for a 1953 Allard K3 produced "astounding" results, and another noting that the smoothness and throttle response of their dirt car's Baldwin carburetors were "much better than others" they had used. Many customers also highlight the team's willingness to go above and beyond, such as helping to dial in the carburetors once they're installed on the customer's vehicle. While Baldwin's lead times can be longer than expected, customers understand that this is due to the small size of the shop and the care they put into each project. As one reviewer noted, "If you're in a hurry, they're not your guys. If you want skill and quality and give them their time, they're the best." Overall, Baldwin Performance Carburetor is widely regarded as one of the best in the business, with a reputation for exceptional service, quality workmanship, and a deep understanding of carburetor technology. Customers trust the team to handle everything from concours-level restorations to high-performance builds, and many consider themselves lifelong customers.
I own a half a dozen of these carburetors. I have won races at many racetracks and championships with these carburetors. William Baldwin is hands on and always willing to help you out. I can't tell you how many times he's helped me out of a bind.

1951 Willy’s pickup truck. No one in the area wanted to touch it. William repaired carburetor and suggested an electric fuel pump (6v) could not be happier. The Shady Tree guys are gone. He wants to help. Old School at its Best.
