1639 Nc 24 27 Byp West, AlbemarleTook my youngest cat Willow to see Dr. MacDonald today for her first visit at Willow Pet Hospital. MacDonald and her staff made Willow feel right at home! Everyone was super friendly and they provided great care to my girl. She usually hates going to the vet, but they gave her treats and calmed her nerves. If you are looking for a new vet, I would highly recommend making an appointment here. My other two cats will be coming for their visits soon. Keep up the great work!!

32124 Pennington Road, AlbemarleI can’t say enough good things about CGS K9 services. We have used both their training and boarding services. I inherited a large dog and I wanted to make sure I could manage him. He stayed with Gabe and Jennifer for a month. When he came home, he was so much more manageable. We currently use their boarding services every couple weeks. At this point, we are sharing custody of our dog. I can tell that they are good to Blackie because he gets excited when I tell him we are going to see Gabe and Jennifer. I am so thankful for CGS K9 Services. Their training and boarding have helped me keep my brother’s dog.

We found Loping Crow Distillery while searching for nearby restaurants, and I'm so glad we did.
The owners are the kind of people who make you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. You can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do, and that energy flows into every part of the business. Everything was spotless, organized, and thoughtfully put together, but what stood out most was how down to earth and kind they were.
We had the chance to chat with them and even captured a short video. They were warm, genuine, and clearly proud of what they've built together. It's refreshing to meet people who love both their business and each other, it creates an atmosphere that's hard to describe but easy to feel.
They host live events, which normally isn't my scene, but their relaxed and welcoming vibe actually made me reconsider. That's saying something. ?
Since we were still driving, Ray and I shared a single drink, but it was enough to know we'll be back.
Sometimes a random detour leads to a hidden gem. For us, this was one of those places.
