I think this place offers a better deal compared to petsmart and much more convenient as it's local. While I can do basic grooming for her on my own, I would like to take her here twice a year for a professional and thorough grooming session, and think it's worth it here. We'll probably be back in the spring.

Rocky River Large Animal Veterinary Clinic
1920 South Ridge Avenue, KannapolisI recently brought a calf in that was in rough shape. They were able to get him in the same morning I called and went above and beyond trying to help it. Dr. Gunner was exceptional, he helped the calf and was very thorough about explaining what he was doing and what I should do to continue treating it. He even took the time to give me hands on training with how to help it. Dr. Gunner and the staff there are great, I would highly recommend them.

They helped me get him in (he was very large) they were so sympathetic and comforting. The staff were consoling. I was heartbroken, so heart broken that I couldn't speak through the tears. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Attitude, patience, understanding, empathy but most importantly knowing that your pet is a family member and doing a great job as a Vet!

Our cat Zoey managed to ingest 15 hair ties along with a piece of metal wire. They admitted her right away and performed a major surgery on a weekend. I highly recommend this emergency clinic if your pet is in need. Thanks again for your professionalism and dedicated care to Zoey. We really appreciate you for saving her life... and my daughter and her friends are going to be more vigilant in keeping those ties away from her from now going forward. 😁

211 West Avenue Unit A, KannapolisI was excited to find a cider house! I personally love Ciders but finding locally made ones can be hard. Their triple berry cider here was amazing and def memorable. I got a flight and the presentation was asthetically pleasing and they had a label system so you would know which ones were what. It also had an open garage/huge door which was nice to get some fresh air and enjoy the evening scenery. During the week it is slower. If you are looking for a low key vibe with few people this might be a good place to check out during the week. Overall, happy with my experience !

The Concession Stand at Atrium Health Ballpark
210 South Main Street, KannapolisThis was a fun night checking out this stadium for the first time with a group of friends. It's smaller than the Knights stadium Uptown but built similarly. The have food, drinks, an onsite restaurant and fireworks. Parking wasn't bad as far as distance, but they do charge you $10 to park. They had fun entertainment throughout the night. I loved that they had a bat dog. It was really cool to watch him work. It was a fun experience overall!

2461 Wonder Drive Northeast, KannapolisMar y Tierra was the absolute perfect spot for our date night! We started with a coconut mojito and a michelada, and both were top-tier. The michelada in particular is an absolute game-changer and the ultimate hangover cure. For food, the tacos al pastor were out-of-this-world good—so incredibly juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Five stars all around for the amazing food, delicious drinks, and great atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

1405 South Cannon Boulevard, KannapolisWe've been wanting to try this place and we finally had an opportunity to give it a try. We arrived right around lunch time. They were starting to get busy. There was 5 of us, but there was no problem finding seating for us. They primarily serve breakfast but they do have some lunch items. They serve breakfast all day. They open early and close early around 3 or 4 depending on the day.. Service was fast and excellent. We ordered and it didn't take long for our food to show up. I ordered the bacon, egg & cheese on a croissant with french fries and a waffle on the side (not in my picture). My wife ordered the Southern omelet with hash browns. Everything tasted good. If I would have to say one thing that was a disappointment, I'd have to say that I wish my sandwich would of been hotter. It was just warm and the croissant had a little chill to it. I took half of it home and had it for breakfast the next day, only it was hot this time. They give you a nice portion of food on all the plates I saw. We'll definitely go back again.

The 2 individuals who were working the counter & dining room were very friendly and took care of all our needs/requests. I ordered the 8oz. Hamburger Steak with gravy, White Rice with gravy and French Fries on the side. My wife ordered the 8oz.Humdinger Burger with Onion Rings as her side. The food came out pretty quick. Everything came out HOT! We both enjoyed our meal with no complaints. NOW, as far as the atmosphere, this establishment is showing some wear and it's age. But that didn't effect the food, which is what we came in for. Another thing worth mentioning is the temperature inside the dining room. They said it was 92 degrees in the dining room and 100 degrees outside. Not sure if their system was broke or it just couldn't keep up with the outside heat. Nevertheless, it made eating our hot food a little uncomfortable, even though we were sitting under a ceiling fan. So I had to ding them on the atmosphere. It's a nice local establishment with good food, so give them a try. Just make sure the outside temperature is under 100 degrees. LOL

The portion sizes were great, I ordered the Birria burrito and there was a good amount of birria in it. I tried the pollo con crema and the chicken had a very roasted and rich flavor. Our server checked up on us often, the food didn't take too long. The decoration in the restaurant was vibrant, always had something different to look at lol. Very family friendly.
